I'll play it eventually. It looks nice. I like the idea for the battle system, too. It's not all just basic turn-based. There's some variety.

Oooo!!! I want it really bad!!! Where can you pre-order it? Just any basic game store? Or places like Wal-mart too?

PotBelliedCow already started a topic about this somewhere... Anyway I'm really excited about this game! I've been waiting for a new RPG for the GC and this looks awesome. I absolutely love the art and graphics. ^_^

Im definetly gonna get it ASAP, along with Baten Kaitos (another GC exclusive RPG) its top of my to get list. The graphics look amazing, the battle system is similar to Star Ocean 2 so its pretty enjoyable and offers alot of freedom and the characters look stunning.

If this game is half as good as Skies of Arcadia Legends I wouldnt be surprised to see alot of PS2 fanboys jumping ship to the Gamecube

I'ma gettin' it friday. I've played Tales of Phantasia on the Super Famicome and it was a lot of fun, so this is a must have for me. BTW, speaking of Phantasia, ne1 else play it? And does ne1 know if there are ne othe Tales games?

It's about time someone is nice to Nintendo, they really needed a game like this to show that not just Sony owns the rpg world like some sort of propaganda.

well nun of you will be disupointed I have had it for 2 days now and wow!!!!!! I love it. thoe I have died many time now. it is hard. this game is one of the funnest games I have played. thoe I only hae 2 thumbs I will give it this many

I'm probably getting it today. It'll give me something to do while we're in Kansas City. And I've found better RPGs for the GCN and XBOX than the PS2. Just because Sony has FF doesn't mean the own the RPG world.

I just started to play it! And I like it alot!! It's very cute, and yes very CHALLENGING!

Also it has a nice introduction. They have animated cut scenes I think! *o*

I've been enjoying this quite a bit. :cool:

Namco really did a good localization job on a Tales game this time around.

The voices are well-done and the story has been pretty good so far with a few plot twists here and there. Gameplay is fun. I remember quite a few of the techniques from Phantasia and Eternia.

The artbook is pretty nice as well with profiles and artwork of the nine playable characters, art of other charactors, the summons, vehicles, and several pages worth of small character sprites or whatever they are called.

So, yeah. Tales of Symphonia gets my recommendation.

Yup, but they renamed it Tales of Destiney II
