I mean just think about it, an NES SP? Ports of NES games on the GBA? a NEW 2D Zelda for GCN? And the Mega Man collection? It doesn't get much better then this for old schoolers.

That's cool, all in all. I will definitely want to see the new Zelda titles.
I cannot say I am too enthusiastic about the Megaman series, however. I have beaten three of the first six games, and I cannot say I was excessively impressed. All the plots were basically identicle, and the same gameplay styles reused continually. But ignore me and enjoy the series if you wish.

OK then, we'll ignore you... jk
Me? I'm looking forward to the old school stuff coming out. It's good that those of us who missed out the first time around can enjoy the older games. MMAC is of course on my list, not so much for the NES (some of which I've played) but 7 and 8. I've played most of the Zelda games to death, so...<.< hehe

Well the good thing about this Zelda Ink, is that its totally BRAND NEW, yes it does take from ALttP's style(which I love) but one it should be an interesting twist.

Halo is classic like beef is vegan. Halo is just the newest thing in FPS, or it was... It's not even revolutionary. People will remember Wolfenstein 3d and Doom and quake, but they won't remember Halo when all is said and done, unless the sequals really do something impressive.
Man... I'd love to get a GBA... Money is a cruel master, which I guess is why I should be glad I don't have much, hehehe.

I think every month gamers should acknowledge old school games, after all it was the classics that defined games today and in some ways topple the newer games with better gameplay and a more innocent-homely feel. On a side note, I agree, though I love Halo--in the end people will remember Doom and Wolfenstein 3D.

I argee with Zedian, people need to acknowledgethe fact that if it were not for the old school classics, whatever it is that they are playing now probably wouldn't exist. On another note, why in the world is Nintendo charging $20 a pop for those NES rereleases with no kind of extras (that I know of)? You can almost find a used NES and the original game for that price! Everybody chant now....Drop the price, you've made your money, drop the price, you've made your money

I will temper this paragraph by saying that I am not a fan of first person shooters. However, I became much less impressed with Halo after I saw Unreal Tournament in action. The engine works well (and has a physics engine), they managed to be innovative (Onslaught mode) and the AI is almost scary. Not as good as a human, but it is good enough that even veterans use the bots for warm up.
Two days ago I began and finished Mega Man 5. I really must stop myself from playing those games, they absorb too much of my time and we all know that Wily will be behind everything in the end.
