So does anyone else here do video game crafts? I've taken a liking to making video game stuff out of Perler beads (aka fuse beads). Sprites translate very well to Perler beads! Here's what I've done so far:
On the top row are Mario 2 items, the one in the middle is Nemo from Little Nemo: The Dream Master, and the bottom row are the little guys from Dig Dug. I really enjoy making them. :3 I'm also considering taking up cross-stitching; 8-bit and 16-bit art also translates well to that.

Wow, those are pretty awesome!
Are the beads glued together or are they glued to a surface (i.e. cardboard or posterboard)?
You should definitely give cross-stitching a shot. These would look great in cross-stitch form. :3

There's a special pegboard that the beads go on, and when you're done arranging the beads the way you want, you put the ironing paper on top and iron it until the beads melt together.

I love those beads. Used to play with em a lot when I was younger. I've actually brainstormed some projects I'd love to do with em, but I think I have more fun thinking of ideas than actually doing them.

Sweet. I loved those in school. Recreating those sprites must be fun
