Just wondering if anyone has bought this yet?

If so, would you be able to tell me whether people in different countries / time zones can play together (since the internal clocks of the Wiis would be different due to the geographical locations)?

It doesn't look like there's a lot of new stuff (the graphics look the same), however the Wii Speak option and multiplayer capability may make it worthwhile, so I wanted to find out first ...

Thanks! :)

Well, I don't have it, but I would imagine you would be. It would probably work like when visiting a friends town on the GC version. If you take you're memory card over friends house and stick it into his GC, you could visit your friends town according to his settings (maybe he had it set to December so its snowing). And then they could come over to my town (say, spring in that town). So what ever town your in, its gonna be according to the hosts settings.

I am planning on getting this though. I loved the old game but my one beef was no online play and that made it get a bit boring quick.

I'd guess that it would work like the DS version.

Yeah I know you could do that with the GC version. My question was more about whether people in different time zones (and therefore countries) would be able to play together. I live in Australia and figure most of the people here are in the USA.... :)
