Anybody hear anything about this?

I have heard of an X Box game called Trigun: The Planet Gunsmoke, but I wasn't aware it was online. Sounds neat.

Hmm. I think it could fit an RPG well. . .although this game is probably a shooter or fighter, sorrowfully enough (as most anime-based games are, *cough cough Gundam Wing cough*)
Though unless there's some game-specific original characters, it would probably get old fast because there would be four really strong characters (depending on when it was set, before or after episodes 23 and 24, if after,
it would not even have two of these
-Vash, Wolfwood, Knives, and maybe Legato) and two weaklings (Milly and Meryl) so the MMORPG format wouldn't be the best as you'd have 100s of Wolfwoods or Knivess running around, engaging in some serious PvP attacks on the few players stupid enough to pick Meryl LOL)
I'd say a single-player console RPG format would be the best, using Vash (or maybe Wolfwood or Meryl) as the main character.
However, all of that is just my opinion. . .hehe. -^.^-

if it was going to be a huge rpg, i think it would be based in the world that the show took place in. Most of those games you have your own unique charicter, so they would have charicter classes, and items and whatnot. doubtful you'd even see Vash or anybody , maby hear about it in NPC dialogs. Anyway..... thats my thoughts.

I thijnk for a console MMORPG to be successful, they really need to make the hardware cheaper. Remember what happened to FFXI?
PC MMORPGs will always be more successful IMO because the gear is usually there, so you don't have to spend so much money
