Good Xbox titles

I just bought an Xbox off my friend ((the original, not a 360)) and am wondering what titles are worth getting. Halo and Halo 2 are all that's on my list atm. I'm up for any genre really, just start spoutin' off whatever's best that comes to mind.

I have absolutely no intention of ever buying an Xbox or a 360, but I always did want to play Jet Set Radio Future and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Maybe give 'em a rent before buying, though.

You can find a copy of Fable for $20 these days, and at that price it's fairly reasonable. Also, Oddworld - Stranger's Wrath and PsychoNauts are both excellent titles your XBox library shouldn't be without. And assuming you don't own any of the other ports, Sonic Mega Collection Plus.

I agree with fish whole heartedly good games. Ninja Gaiden Black is amazing to the third power XD but be warned easily one of th hardest games ever. Dues ex 2 is great too and if you can deal with slow down Halflife 2 is availible for like 10 bucks at eb. Other than that i can't think of too many off hand there are some great games but i am having a brain fart

These days, if you can get it cheap used, that's probably cheaper than renting, lol.
Fable and Ninja Gaiden...can't believe those slipped my mind. Definitely gonna try to pick those up. And I'll be looking at Oddworld, Psychonauts and Dues ex. Half life's been on my list for a while, even before I had the xbox.

Actually, a better move would be to grab the Orange Box for PC, which includes Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. $50, but you can probably find it for a less expensive price.
PsychoNauts and Oddworld - Stranger's Wrath are two games that were widely panned despite getting impressive scores (in fact, I think the Xbox port of PsychoNauts might be out of print). PsychoNauts is a fairly entertaining platformer with a slew of intriguing ideas and excellent writing, making it one of the few billed "Humorous" games today to actually be funny. And Stranger's Wrath is by Oddworld Inhabitants, the company's first (and last?) foray into FPS territory; and for an amateurs' attempt, it's a step above most mainstream FPS efforts in terms of ingenuity and innovation. The only downer is no multiplayer, but I think we can let them live with that.

Fuzion Frenzy, def.
You can find Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind at a ridiculously cheap price.
I usually see it at $1.99
Sure, it's not as good as Oblivion, but where I'm from it's 48$ dollars less.
Saving is ownage.

Which I definately want to do, but my comp doesn't have what it takes to run that, unfortunately, or I definately would.

I tried Invisible War on my laptop, but it would crash every time at the start. :\

If you're into Japanese anime-style RPGs, then you might enjoy Eternal Sonata. I haven't actually played it yet, but several of my friends say it's good... so yeah?
;
That's all I can think of that hasn't already been mentioned. My brother
just bought an Xbox 360 so we don't have many games for it yet.

Oh ya I've been meaning to get Eternal Sonata.... thats the one where you're Chopan, the famous composer right? I've never played it but the concept sounded awesome. Chopan on his death bed and and the whole game takes place in the last dream he has as he's dying or something like that.
Umm... I don't really have any suggestions though. Assassin's Creed is also available on Xbox360... thats a pretty awesome game I haven't seen that mentioned yet.
Ok so you said Xbox XD Ignore above. Shenmue II, Morrowind, Fable... Monster Hunter if you like going around killing huge dragons. It used to have a lot of people to team with online and this HUGE black dragon only available at the highest level and online but not many play online anymore. But it's still pretty fun trying to figure out how to kill each dragon.

i forgot two must have x-box titles. Fable and Indigo Prophecy. IP is the best adventure game to grace consoles in years. I recommend playing it (content is kinda risky near the end PM me any questions) the whole 8 hours in one sitting. It is one of the best stories 31/2/4 percent of the game. A few random unneeded story element thrown in. Easily the best beginning to a game ever.

Jet Set Radio Future.
Get it.
Play it.
There's also a pretty neat JRPG mech game called Phantom Crash that isn't "AMAZING" but it's actually not that bad and kinda addictive.
