i love tetris. although it's been a while since i played it last time, i think it's still a game worthwhile to play once in a while.

just one thing to remember; never depend on getting that single line at the edge. you'd rather want to keep living and getting low scores than risking any rise to the tower you're building.

Tetris is awesome. I have Tetris for many of the consoles, DOS, and a couple of varients on the PC. Man that game is addicting.

Tetris has saved me from boredom a dozens times over. Funny, the only copy I have is for... well... is for the old Gameboy. Yup, the black 'n white… outdated classic version.... it's just Tetris. I still play it… now and then. Surprisingly it still works…. anyways, great game… the mother of all puzzle videogames! So, everyone grab your Ak-47 and join the Russia Revolution...

I have the old NES version. ^_^ It's great fun. I got to level 10 once (starting from level 0!), but that's about all I've done as far as Tetris goes ^^;;

I love Tetris. I can make like 20 Tetris' in a row. I only get to play the Tetris DX on my GBC right now, since my NES doesn't work. I have a high score of 1,260,380 or something like that. It's so cool when you get in the higher 20 levels and the screen gets all weird on yah - black and then neon. Yeah, I was just playing it about 8 o'clock tonight. Is over a million a good score, since I'm the only one that plays I really don't know.

Happy New Years!

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Yeah, 1 million would be a pretty good score. An excellent score really. I don't think I've gotten my self up there much. My average score is around 60,000-70,000. I think theres a difference in how the scoring works in the many different versions of tetris. The size of the stacking space is probably different for other versions. I've seen that in the games I've played where one game goes a level higher at a higher or lower score than the other. It's the patterns that can be different. I have the game that goes up a level every 10 tetrises. Anymore, it depends on what the programmers want to do when changing the background at certain levels in the game.

Tetris is a good game for passing the time, although it does get boring after a while. I would much rather play Space Invaders for hours on end. :thumb:

I have tetris for the Mac, but no Machintosh computer to run it. If I ever feel like playing I'll just find a free online version.

I used to play Tetris a LOT on the Game Boy--it's the only version I had. I can't remember my best score, but it was enough to get the largest rocket to take off after the game was over, and I could get the space shuttle to take off as well. Remember those?

Ah memories... Memories of manipulating my mother into getting me a gameboy for Christmas. "Oh, I can buy this game for Stacy's gameboy..." She felt so sorry for me being so sad and pathetic... But, my mom played Tetris more than I did.

I remember playing Tetris so much that when I went to bed my mind would reflexively create Tetris puzzles. I had trouble getting to sleep because I kept trying to solve them. Those were the days...
