Anyone know when FFXI for ps2 gonna release??

I was wondering if anyone had any idea when Final Fantasy XI is going to be released to the ps2 in the US???
-sorry to anyone if i am duplicating threads....
I keep getting different dates from different sources....
PLEASE HELP!!!

According to Gamespot: 03/23/2004 and your going to need a harddrive upgrade for your PS2 which will set you back around $100.

The harddrive COMES WITH FFXI and a 3 month subscription to the service...
FFXI is a monthly charge, though...

PC- October 2003 (like no one knows that)
PS2- February/March/April 2004
My bro was a beta tester so he gets a free hardrive and copy of the game... lucky booger!

*sigh* Yeah. That's the ONLY reason I bought a PS2. To play FFX. And FF9. I think square gave up on them. I'd tend to agree, though. If you aren't planning on using the HD or the Modem for any other games, it's better to go for the PC version, IMHO.
