Which Disney and/or Squaresoft characters should show up in the next Kingdom Hearts game? Here's who I'd like to see:

Yes. Probably the greatest lost ever for Disney. I don't care--it's a great movie,t hey just didn't advertise it well. It's really the only one of my favorites that hasn't shown up in the games yet...

Well, then again, how come a Snow White world hasn't popped up yet? Kinda weird.

Oh, and I second Darkwing Duck, that'd be awesome. XD At least have him pop up somewhere in Mickey's world. He can be a knight or something. Maybe Max and PJ from Goof Troop could appear, too.

The Pixar films. Which is most likely since Squenix now has the rights.

It would be interesting to see the entire FFIX cast in the next one, as they have been mostly neglected. Perhaps Cecil from FFIV. Perhaps Crono! And maybe Ultimecia for kicks...

I care less about characters than about having more worlds that aren't rehashes of Disney movies. But generally I am in favor of more Final Fantasy characters and fewer Disney ones overall, so I am heavily biased. Regarding characters, I mostly want to see Mickey's master again, provided that he plays a significant role (the way he disappears in the second game made me, at least, suspicious); I also want Auron to return and matter somewhat.

Actually, what I mostly care about in the next Kingdom Hearts game is the plot. Will it build off of what exists and deepen the world, or feel like another episodic continuation? So far it is fine, provided that they continue to use the elements they have introduced. But if it turns out there are three parts of a person, I will be very disappointed.

Space Jam was Warner Bros, dude. The Looney Tunes are owned by Warner Bros, not Disney.
And I don't know about Cait Sith. Wouldn't he double-cross you, like he did in Final Fantasy 7?

EXACTLY!!!! The first Kingdom Hearts was praised because it WASN'T so full of Disney! They stuffed the second one to its maximum capacity! I, for one, would like to see some more original worlds and less disney characters.

The way Yen Sid disappeared along with the three fairies made me suspicious too. And yes, you're right, Auron didn't play a big enough part. He was hardly in the game at all.

Actually, Treasure Planet would be a cool level. The only thing I ahve a problem with is Silver. He's a fat, decrepit Cyborg, so I wouldn't think he'd be a really tough boss at all.

One thing that made me scratch my head in the game was Maleficant and Pete. They really didn't contribute anything worthwhile to the plot whatsoever. Felt like the revived her just to do so then couldn't figure out what to do with her the rest of the game.

Or at least better integration. In KH2 I couldn't escape the feeling that there was plot at the beginning, a bunch of Disney worlds, then plot at the end. I would have much prefered more original things or Disney worlds being altered by the presence of the Heartless (and in significant ways, not just helping the villains).

I presume it was set up for the next game, but I agree that it was not well handled. What especially irked me is that you never go back to Yen Sid's tower. We had better at some point in a later game or I will be disappointed with the series.

Rinoa. I was so dissapointed when she wasn't in KHI or II.

Also, I'd wanna see Kinneas (FF8).

If Tetsuya Nomura could get the rights to Chrono games, I'd LOVE to see Kid, Serge, Frog, or Lucca in there. Also, as far as Disney movies are concerned, Bernard and Bianca of the Rescue Aid Society would be perfect additions. XD I would also love to see some of The Great Mouse Detective in there. xD How cool would that be?

I second the acquiring the rights to the Chrono games.

As for Disney movies....Great Mouse Detective is a great choice! I loved the peg-legged bat. I think that, since Square-Enix is making the game, that a whole world should be devoted to Dragon Warrior, or at least make that a mini game. I would love that.

I think it would be cool if they had a totally final fantasy planet where you could capture Chocobo adn liek ride them they are like my favorite

also i would like to see more of Auron also, I thought he was a cool mysterious character and it would add alot to the game in my opinion to develop a storyline around him at least more than they did in #2


and if they could incorporate treasure planet into it that would be awesome too they could work to where they steal the ship back from long john silver like the boss part of the game

and just to mention that Snow white was one of the seven princesses in the first one but I beat most everything of the second one I liked the tron world and the Mulan world the best but I agree in the thinking that they should have more final fantasy characters and steer away from the cuteness of disney a bit more also I would like to see more of Leon I thought he was really cool and I like his gunblade they should develop a mini plot for him or something

I think they should maybe have a storyline for tifa and cloud

I want no disney and nothing thats Final Fantasy 7 or later...

I once saw Kingdom Hearts fanart set in the Gargoyles world on Deviantart. I think it would be awesome if they brought that show into the game O.O

I dunno if I just missed it or not, but was Red XII in either of these games? If not, they really need him in there. I also wonder if they will include people from the soon to be released Final Fantasy XII too.

I would also like more RPG elements, or at least make them optional for the people that want it. Like, instead of it automatically making you stronger by distributing points at what seems to be random, they should make an option that allows you to manually distribute the points to the attributes of your choice. You could end up making a Super Mage Sora or No Magic, All Keyblade Sora. I think that would be awsome.

Red XIII would be an awesome addition to the games. Come to think of it, so would Rydia, Cecil, and Kain, from FF4. :O But I wouldn't say to rid KH of its Disney factor...I mean, Disney is part of what makes KH what it is. It would be so much different, and I think, more bland if you didn't have the Disney aspect of it. Otherwise, it would just be another Final Fantasy game with new characters. *shrugs*

And I agree with JadeFox. Squall should totally get more screentime. XD

Yeah, part of the reason I love the KH series so much is it's like an homage to Disney. XD I'm a huge Disney fan, so being able to play a GOOD video game with Disney characters in it (as well as the great Final Fantasy stuff, and the good plot and characters) makes it one of the BEST GAMES EVER. XD

That being said, it would be cool to see "twisted" versions of the Disney worlds...like....at least in worlds that they've already been to and summerized part of the plot, make the Heartless somehow make something go TERRIBLY wrong in the world. Like, somehow posessing one of the Disney Princesses and making them go evil. XD

Plus, it'd give her voice actress a chance to do something besides her typical "I'm a beautiful meeeermaaaaid! <3" voice. I heard clips of her playing a villian in an RPG once, and it was great.

Hey, KH2 had Setzer... No Locke, no Terra (or Tina), no Celes... Actualy, I don't care much because KH1 was annoying... I never finished it, so I have little interest in KH2 or beyond...

I think it is likely that they'll have Agrabah in the third game, and that doesn't bother me. They did the second movie in the second game so it would make sense if they did Prince of Thieves in KH3. And unlike the second Aladdin movie, I think Prince of Thieves could potentially make an interesting world.

I don't know if we'll ever see that, but the second game did make the RPG system more complicated, so I think things will continue to expand. The points aren't random, however - they always follow the same pattern.

If they did allow you to determine what improves at each level my Sora would become completely melee oriented. I never liked using the magic except for healing.

I'd like to see Bambi in KH3. >.> Dude, Sora as a deer would be cool.

Also, I bet we'll see the Sleeping Beauty world in KH3. I'm guessing that if KH3 is the last game in the series, it would be where you finally finish Maleficant off.

Treasure Planet would be awesome.

I would be mainly magic, but a decent melee attack. I like using Thunder alot

I also think that it would be awsome if you could transform/fuse with your summons, like Master Form and the like. Genie would allow you to fly w/o slowly falling to the ground, and would have slightly increased magic. Stitch would increase your defense incredibly, and make all of your kills produce alot of HP orbs, but it would lower your magic capabilities dramatically.

Or party members other than Goofy and Donald. I would have used Sora + Auron even if it wasn't very effective just for the enjoyment. Though the transformations were actually fairly cool; I had originally thought we'd see a cross between Goofy and Sora, which isn't a pleasant mental image for me.

As for levels, I have one word to say: Duckburg! That would definitely rock!

I'm fairly certain that neither of those franchises is Disney or Square Enix, therefore it's very unlikely that they'll show up.

I played through the KH games over the course of last year and I fell in love with them. I agree with the feeling that KH2 had story at the beginning, Disney in the middle, and story at the end. I really wish that they'd incorperated more of the actual story into the worlds and that there were more than a few non-Disney worlds. This isn't to say that I didn't enjoy the Disney worlds through. They were very fun and each played it's part well. I really wanted to see more Yen Sid, so I'm hoping they bring him back in KH3.

As for Disney/FF characters I'd like to see, I'd like to see FFIX characters in the game, but nothing else really comes to mind.

It's a grey area. Miramax is part of Disney, so Star-Chan assumes they are a product of Disney. They aren't.

I'd like to see more Final Fantasy characters join your party, like Auron. It was awesome to fight next to Tifa and Squall. Unfortunately it only lasted for about 10 seconds.

I'd also like see new FF characters, Edgar (mmm..... chainsaw.....), Locke, Steiner among others. Final Fantasy worlds would be nice also, I'm getting kinda bored with going to Atlantica over and over.

I'd also like to see some of Square's other series added to the blend. Look at what they got. The Chrono series (mentioned many times before), Dragon Quest, Star Ocean, and The Sword of Mana series. If it was at all possible, though it's very unlikely, I'd like to see Namco added to the group project. The Tales series alone could add a ton of new characters.
