there out there, any fans? I like the WWE series games, the new "Smackdown : Here comes the pain" is great. Good system, great create a wrestler, a good level system. Not to mention customisable move lists, entrences and what not.
Throw in some create a stuff. such as creating a taunts, walking and running movement, and fighting stances. This is a great game. Especially since its got L.O.D. Hawk and Animal, probably the last game they shall be in. (Hawk rest in peace)
Lots of unlockables, helps out, also you can mix and match rosters as much as you like, makeing whoever you want good or bad.
If i had to rate it id give it a 9 out of 10.
P.S. my charicter Phoenix kicks massive booty

I haven't played many of the current ones, but on the Commodore 64 (knock off all that muttering) Epyx made a great knock-off-wrestling title called Championship Wrestling. It had an amusing collection of original wrestlers (some styled off contemporary ones ... this was circa 1986, I think), surprisingly good animation and moves for the day (each wrestler had his own introductory sequence, quote and music), and good team play (my sister and I used to thrash each other regularly on it; she either played Jake or Purple Hays, and I usually played as the Berserker or Zanderklaw -- this last character had a hilarious audio joke during his audio introduction revealing his sooper sekrit identity).

Pro Wrestling (NES)
Star Man would make a great avatar
I personally wish some one besides WWE would make new games with out all the "extreme" attitude (profanity, hand signals, bra and panty matches and such). I also don't want to give them any money on the grounds that they ruined wrestling on several fronts, but that's off topic.

I have read about Shawn Micheals faith, didn't know about the others though. Sting and Ted Dibiase (Million Dollar Man) are a couple who aren't active right now that profess their faith openly.
I don't know much about TNA, other than it seems like a large number of old stars went there after the WWE bought out all thier competition. I hope they choose a cleaner route for thier game and that it comes out.
