I've played AC 2 for the PS2. It's a fairly solid game and if you like custom "mech" like Mechwarrior 4 you'll be satisfied with this one. It has a nice blend of mech-customization, mission-based levels, and area style fighting. Basically, enough to keep you entertained for it's under 20 bucks price tag. The customization alone impressed me and if you become bored with this. You can duke it out with a friend in multiplayer with your custom mechs. I was also impressed that during multiplayer mode the game kept a stable frame rate without losing textures and shadows. The sound was pretty nice to, along with the music scores, not the repetitive type in other mech games. On the downside, there were problems I had with the game; First, the control were annoying and Second, the difficulty is not set for the average gaming, but I guess the controls added to it.

Besides the annoying game play issues, it's a pretty awesome game for a 2000 release and a $20 price tag.

I give it a 8.2 out of 10

Same here, dude. For the missions, it's just trial and error.
