haha, yes- now I've played (and almost beaten) the game.
Wanted to know what other people think about it. I thought the actual idea of the game was great, animation was wonderful, beautiful videos.. blah blah blah
but I think disney messed it up.
**for those of you who've beaten it**(if anyone has) how many darn fights do you have to do until you kill ansem? so far its been 5 battles in a row! sucks for me b/c I keep dying.

I enjoyed the game very much. An example of a real-time rpg done well. It was especially enjoyable to see Final Fantasy characters get redone in proper 3D.

I'm not so upset about Disney. Perhaps the game would have been better without it, but I'm not really going to complain. It was still fun.

You have to fight Ansem a lot. A whole lot. But if you've leveled up enough, it shouldn't be that tough. Are you using the Oblivion? Personally I like it quite a bit, in that I mainly use my magic to heal myself and little else (other than Aero).

Kingdom Hearts is a brilliant game, one of my personal favorites and very addictive. The graphics put FFX to shame and whilst the battle style may not have been my cup of tea it was still nice to be so much more involved. The storyline was brilliant and it has one of my favorite video game characters (who ironically shares the same name as my Jewish one) Riku.
I loved the music/score personally too, well up to Squares very high standard but it really was the story that won the game for me. The cameo appearences by Final Fantasy characters was something very special as was the many disney worlds/characters for nostalgia value.

But Il say this regarding the disney part. This game is centered around Disney, they own all the licensing to it also. If you dont like disney, go play final fantasy, this game is an rpg made by square based on the disney world. Thats the way it is, and I like it.

I'm not sure how to answer the poll - "Good or Bad" game with "Yes or No"? Yes it's good, or yes it's bad?

Oh guys come on...KH deseves more credit than this!! I think it rocked. Even though it did have disney in it.........................Anyways it was still cool. How far did everyone get in it. Like how many mini-games have you beaten, what level are you at, ultimate weapons....stuff like that. I'm a gamer so this stuff interests me :p.

Liked the disney charachter bits esp. the NMBC stuff, havnt actually played it a lot, but thought the concept was cool, and I think its awesome that KH2 is coming out!

"in proper 3d" what? All of the square characters were allready IN 3d before KH... Of course, they were upgraded and altered for KH, but they were in 3d before... I mean, I would have been giddy if it was Terra or Locke or SETZER in this (oh yeah, they were in 3d too! But Amano-ized and not looking like their sprites...) Well... Anyhow... KH is great, I actually got a chance to play THAT ONE but never beat it. I forgot to add that one to my wishlist...

Take FFVII for an example... and perhaps it is the best one. The characters are still basically sprites, albeit a bit more complex ones. Whereas characters in FFX cannot be sprited. This is what I refer to as proper 3D. Hence the word "proper." I just like the makeover and nice graphics.

Would you please fix the poll, Dirge? Are we supposed to answer yes or no as to whether the game is good or bad? It doesn't make sense. You can change it to, "Did you think Kingdom Hearts was a good game?" yes or no. Or possibly, "Did you think Kingdom Hearts was a bad game?" yes or no. Okay?
