Now I have a reason to save my money.
My brother just bought his SP. I think he's kicking himself for not waiting.

Mirco is more in the vein of DS, designed to attract older audiences while keeping the core audience happy. See how tiny and sleek it is? That's a big draw for the iPod loving teen/adult.

The thing is, if you have $99.99 to spend on a Game Boy Micro, you might as well save up $30 more to get a DS, now that the price is dropping to $129.99.

first article link wrote: The Game Boy Micro is compatible with all Game Boy Advance titles, but will not play Game Boy or Game Boy Color titles. Nintendo did not reveal pricing on individual faceplates.

Dang...
It looks pretty cool, but as I already have a DS, I don't plan on getting one soon. I'll just wait for the next Game Boy to come around.

The only real good ones belonged to Nintendo themselves (like the Zelda, Mario Land, and Kirby games).

Stupid, stupid idea. It doesn't need to be smaller, and now all they're doing is making it even harder to see what's going on.

Not really. I don't believe the screen is too much smaller and it's suppose to be quite clear.

I completely fail to see the draw for this thing. An SP is small enough, it plays GBA and old Game Boy games and it folds over on itself so as to protect the screen from getting jacked up as it otherwise undoubtedly would. If anything, this new model is a step backward. Bite my nosehair, Nintendo.

>>; that's what I've been wondering. I wish they'd get on with their new system instead of remaking a handheld that most everyone already has.

Don't worry. You're not the only guy to have spouted that out before.

That'd be... painful. For both sides. O_o
It could be a step towards what they're planning next and undoubtedly it will sell anyways, to those few who don't already have one and to those whiney kids who want it cuz it looks cool. Still, I don't think it's really a bad idea, and, as I was starting to say, it could have some sort of leading up into the next system (think about the SP flip-top and back illumination leading into the DS).

It's a waste of money IMO. I'd rather stick with the SP.
