Cowboy Bebop

There's an article on IGN about a Cowboy Bebop GAME being released for the PS2 sometime in the future...I definitely can't wait. There's only a few (poor-quality) images and a brief video there, but I'm hoping for something great.

I heard about this a long time ago in Newtype. Looks good. I wonder if the American version will have voice-overs by the American voice actors... *drools*
Think happy thoughts.

Yeah Volt, i agree with you. I believe video games and movies should be seperate. Yeah, I know its possible to have a cool game based on a movie like Spidy 2, but thats an oddity IMO.

I guess in other words, I like Bebop the way it is!!

If you have nothing to say about the topic don't post on the thread...

Full Metal Alchemist for kids..Your right...nothing bad about kids seeing Ed on the floor with his arm and leg gone in a pool of blood..nothing wrong with seeing the chimera insides on the wall..nope That should be on PBS for all the four year olds to see.

If you want to continue this please do so on PM.

Anyway,

I dont think Anime and games should be kept seperate but when the mix they should handel it with as much care as they do with any game or anime.

The games look is quite good really fighting for the show though it could be a bit darker but maybe I just haven't seen enough of it.

As For the Voice Actors I believe the will repirce thier roles as the actors did in the Ghost in the shell game.

Didn't Bandai make or publish both games.

Lol if you think Full Metal Alchemist and Cowboy Bebop are for kids I'd love to hear what kind of anime you think is "adult." But obviously you haven't seen both so you shouldn't comment on them like that.

As for this game I don't have high hopes for it. EVERY anime game that has come out in the U.S. with one exception has been mediocre at best. And that exception was the original Ghost in the Shell game for Playstation. That game had you riding a tank like Fuchikoma in a thirdperson action game. It had original animation sequences, the dub voices, a psuedo free roaming style where you could go almost anywhere, fast action, and a nice tight camera.

Of course Bandai didn't make it THQ did. Bandai has a terrible track record for anime games here. The Stand Alone Complex game, the Inuyasha game, all of the Gundam games minus Zeonic Front, .hack doesn't count because an anime was based on that game. So yeah I'm kinda doubting it will be anymore than a mediocre game. On one hand they've screwed up almost every anime game they've made. And on the other this is Cowboy Bebop the most popular anime in America and there's alot of anticipation that this will be good.
