Super robot taisen?
When I hear that, I'm thinking "Sakura Taisen" which was called "Sakura Wars" in the US.
Nope, never played it or ST, but I really want to play the ST games because the concept of a "Steampunk World War 1" is really intriguing.

Super Robot Taisen is sorta like Sakura Taisen....kinda.
Super Robot Taisen is a stratagy game. The movement is like Final Fantasy Tactics. The SRT series is really popular in Japan. SRT takes mechs from various animes and surprisingly makes a pretty good story out of it for the game that follows the storyline in each of the mech's anime. It seems though most of the units in the SRT series is from Gundam but seeing as how Gundam dominates the mech anime industry it isn't surprising.

AHHH! Super robot wars in ONLY my 2nd favorite game series of all time! I love all the mecha animes coming toghter...although it CAN be a tad bit obsure. Heh...heh
