Really...I mean, man...
I just got to the Tower of Salvation where Colette loses her soul. I beat Remiel, but then Kratos got me. I mean, sheesh...this game is the plot-twistiest game I have ever played. Heh...it's fun, though I don't agree all the way with the plot.
BTW, what do you think of this game? I mean, as far as the whole heaven and angels thing goes?

You still have a long, VERY long ways to go
And about the angels and "heaven"
They are really half-elves transformed like Collete and their "heaven" is really an astroid that is reachable via the Tower of Salvation
Vyse is right, you have a LONG ways to go. *has beaten the game twice*
I loved it, personally. And if you think THIS is a plot twist, just wait.

That part was pretty suprising, even if I was partially expecting it.
But, that certainly isn't the last plot twist surrounding
Kratos.
I know what it is!!!!!
Biggest plot twist ever! Don't read it!! XD Actually for me the twist wasn't that surprising, I figured it out by the second skit between them.. oops. >w<
Kratos is Loyd's father.
Kratos is my favourite character.
It's so sad and happy at the same time, when he goes to live on Derris-Kharlan, without Loyd. Loyd has to protect the seedling..
Now I will just go away and stop ruining it for everyone!!

Dude, I've beaten the game three times now! And every time I discover more things.
Like the fact that you can actually meet Raine and Genis's mom, she's on the floating village of Exire. And she's gone insaine.
There are three points in the game where your intire proception get's turned on it's head.
1 read if your passed the tower of salvation
One of them is the tower of salvation, where you find out that
1. remiel calls you 'an infirior being' that's not a good sign,
2. Kratos was a traitor all along
3. becoming an angel means dieing
4. the head of the desians, lord Yggdrasill it also head of cruxis.
5. the renigades are after lloyd because he's speicial somehow
6. kratos is one of the four seraphim
7. Yggdrasill created the intertwined worlds.
2 read if you have gotten the mana leaf
the next one is when the elf at latheon gorge tells you the tale of mithos the hero,
1. the hero's full name is Mithos Yggdrasill
2. He had three companians, Yuan, Kratos, and his older sister martel
3. he made a pact with the summon spirit origin and that is how he made the worlds
4. the goddess martel is actually his sister martel who he wants to revive.
5. that's all i can think of for now
3. read if you have gotten to flanoir to find a docter
the night at altessa's after escaping from derris-kharlan
1.Kratos is lloyd's dad
2. mithos the little kid is actually lord yggdrasill of cruxis
3. kratos is the seal on origin
4. that was why yuan wanted lloyd
5. I'll think of more later,
And there you have it all moments that turn your world upside-down in the game (at least those I can think of)

yeah I liked Kratos, and Regal.
Regal is an interesting character because he is extremely just and still punishes himself for his sin.
He's also probably the strongest characters, remember he was train to fight with his hands if he actually took off his shackles the havoc he would unleash would be awesome.

I must say ... Presea is completely awesome, and if you ever want to see Zilch turn into a squealing fanboy, just say something about her. ^^
But yes, this game (as do all Tales games) kicked much butt.

Ah. This was such a good game. I was almost completely obsessed with it for a year or so and have beaten it three times and found mostly everything. However, I think it got a little too caught up in its plot twists. Like most RPG's today, it sacrificed alot of meaningful plot oppurtunities for unpredictability. In the end, I felt like the story lacked a general direction or purpose. Of course, the characters themselves salvaged that and made it very enjoyable. I just think that some RPG developers and fans have lost sight of what actually constitues a good story, which should be more than just unpredictability.

Presea!! :3
I'm playing through again (partially with my little brother, who doesn't seem to know what he's doing) and just got past where:
Collette is captured by Rodyle and Presea is turned back to normal. That means I get to fight the dragon's at the Wyvern's Nest again! Woo-hoo! (I think...)
BTW, Locke Yggdrasil, where'd you get your avvie? I think I've seen it on another forum before.

Ah, I have fond memories of this game. I still haven't gotten around to seeing all the little random scenes that you can trigger between the characters. Yes, there were mucho plot twists in that game, but overall I thought it was a pretty good game, plus it had Zelos...lol ^^

I beat Tales of Symphonia a few times. I beat by myself afew times and then me and my friend from college played through the game using the 2 player option. I let him be Lloyd and I was usually everyone else @_@ lol. It is fun playing the game thorugh contoling other characters. You get to make all different strategies and makes battle completely different. The game has awesome replay value.

I beat Tales of Symphonia one and a half times. After I beat it, I got halfway through and then I had enough of the game though now I could probably play through it again. I really like how they developed the characters throughout the game and how each had their own fighting style. Plus all the different options you got at the end of the game. That really helped with the replay value. I must say this was one of the funnest RPGs I've ever played on the Gamecube.

I have this game and we did beat it. I thought it would have been a little more interesting at the end. I thought it was kinda boring but overall the story was pretty good. ^-^

My one complaint is that it needed more anime cutscenes (only three???).

Me and Gypsy played through this game, and loved every miunte it claimed our souls. I did enjoy the plot twists, although a few of them you could seee coming.
