If wobbling ends up working in this game, a lot of people will change their tune real fast on this one. "Wobbling"? What, is that one of those SSBM otaku things that exploits the game engine so you can do things the developers really didn't intend, like all that crazy stuff FPS players do?

For those who do not know:

Wobbling is a technique with the Ice Climbers that results in an infinite combo. Simply grab your opponent with Ice Climber 1, then use the Tilt forward A attack continuously with Ice Climber 2.

There are two chances to break free of this combo, if you are not aware of them and/or miss them, you will lose a life.

Last I heard it was being banned at tournaments. Things may have changed since then, though.

Ah. Yeah, that is rather exploitative. Hopefully, they'll have found a way to prevent that from being usable. You see, I've always been a fan of playing games more in the way the designers intended, rather than using every possible loophole to get an edge. Perhaps that's because I'm a casual gamer.

EDIT: Well, well, well. The man is back in town. Snake's data is up. This is going to be one crazy game. I must admit, though, that I'm having a few second thoughts about Snake's presence in this silly game format, coming from a rather serious game series. I'm not saying that he won't utterly pwn, because he will. I'm just not sure he fits the atmosphere best . . .

Apperently, Kojima and Sakurai are friends if Kojima can beg for Snake to be in the game. XD And probably, Kojima and Miyamoto can make funnies when they need to. I mean, how much do we really know the guys? XD They could be funny guys. Just cuz you make a hardcore action/espionage game doesn't mean you can't be funny as all get up.

XD It's hilarious if you know what happened production wise in the MGS series...Well. It's hilarous even if you don't. XD You can hear the crowd's reaction.

I'm fairly neutral about Snake's introduction, but the fact that the producers would make a trailer like that gives me another reason to try to check out the series sometime.

Anyone see the Resetti assist trophy update this morning?

(actually, Alec-kun, it would be...interesting to see big in Brawl. I'm not totally against him like most people, but he's not my favorite character. I'm actually stuck in between Sonic and Shadow, which some people might hate me for. But what can I say? I like 'em both!!)

I personally would like Tails myself. Sure, Sonic is the famous one, but I've always had a thing for Tails.

Oh, and as for Mr. Resetti being an assist trophy.

BEST.

ITEM.

I can't even BEGIN to think of the hilarious moments this is going to create when we start playing Brawl.

Sonic and Tails in an Ice Climbers-esque combo would be pretty slick, actually. Maybe you could switch between which one's "leading" with Down+B like Zelda/Shiek.

There's an interesting idea. Of course, though, it'd be fun to play as each separately as well.

(I also think Tails is cute. But this doesn't mean I like every character, you know. Amy's okay, but I don't like the fact that one of her hobbies is "reading cards" XP And Rouge, well...she's just Rouge. And Eggman needs to get a life.)

I predict many long hours in front of the wii with this game. I guess they changed Princess Zelda's fighting style ... kinda nervous about that.

Horray for more Earthbound characters. Maybe this will bring this series some of the attention it deserves.

I'm kinda disappointed that it wasn't Jeff, Poo, or Paula, actually. It's unfortunate to get a character that I have had absolutely no chance to get to know. It's not my fault either, I would have bought Mother 3 day one.

And so, with Lucas, my faith in Nintendo just sky rocketed. Thank you Nintendo.

So, we got like four movies with today's update. Sweetness.

Of course, though, the last three videos (the one with Mei Ling specifically, I think) made me raise an eyebrow. It was funny, but made me think, "Well, I guess they are going for the "Teen" rating..."

So, they added Lucas.... I feel like Nintendo is messing with me. First, they cancel Earthbound 64. Then, they don't bring Mother 1+2 on the GBA to the States. Next, Iwata announces the VC on the Wii and the happy people playing Earthbound on it. Of course, a couple years later, no word about it. After that, they don't even bother with mentioning Mother 3 on GBA. Now, they are taunting me with Lucas.

Yes, it's cool he's in the game... as long as Ness stays. I remember there was a rumor that Lucas was suppose to replace Ness in Melee, but because of Mother 3 being delayed and pushed to the GBA... it was too late.

Well, that's just the off-beat humor of the Metal Gear games. Nevertheless, I was kinda' surprised to hear that in a Smash Bros game.

But, what *really* caught me off guard was the Wario codec video. I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard. Pure awesome. I can't wait to see the others.

How 'bout them updates? Today's were...interesting. We all knew that we could shield and dodge, but at least we got Fox' Final Smash.

Now comes the question posed by my brother: Giga Bowser vs. Landmaster...who would win in a fight?

I originally said the Landmaster, but then he told me about the relative sizes...my vote was sadly swayed towards the evil mechanical koopa. Didn't want to, but the ugly facts reared their heads.

Unless Fox pulls out some kind of awesome win from behind. Wootness.

And for some reason, I thought Zelda in the "barrel roll" pic was actually a Gardevoir...I'd love to see that in the game.

Oh great.

Single Player mode now has co-op featured in it.

This isn't fair. I'm trying my hardest not to get hyped for this game only to be disappointed when I play it, and now this.

Why must you taunt me Sakurai?
