WWE SmackDown! vs RAW 2007.. 100%.. It was about 60-odd dollars, and it is full of Glitches it's not even fit!

And Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1.. I got it for Free.. I didn't think it was worth it because it isn't all that good.

Because everyone knows it's a terrible game. XD

I will admit I intentionally bough Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing just to see how broken the game was. I've gone 1 million MPH after holding the back button for 5 minutes.

Ahaha, Big rigs. Yeah, apparently their trucks have an incredible reverse capabilities. Not to mention their anti gravity, and of course killer uphill functions. The truck is also apparently some sort of nano-stucture than can go straight through solid objects, as long as it is not the ground.

Tell you something funny though, I looked at bomberman 360 and the gears of war cover. The quality of that was about equally identical. However both games ended up on completely opposite sides in the GS annual awards. Bomberman as the worst game of 2006 and Gears as the best. Its just fun to think of the no-brainer issues that bomberman act zero allowed themselves to do. Camera control mode and a overhead view which somehow is about equally as horrible. *The way they made it, classic bomberman overhead view is great*

Fifty dollars for Final Fantasy 8. As if that weren't bad enough, it was the PC version. I haven't stopped hating myself yet.

And this might be on topic: Buying Dreamfall ($30), realizing my PC couldn't run it, and spending about $100 on a new graphics card.

Played the game once, and only keep it for the pretty case. Argh.

I picked up Final Fantasy XII on launch for 50 bucks, and I've put about 30 hours into it. It's just really hard to get into.

Oh, and me and my friends rented Celebrity Deathmatch one night.

Yeah, no. Awful. AWFUL. We only rented it because we thought that Weird Al might be in it. And there was no Weird Al. And we all felt dirty.

Hmmm, Dirge of Cerebus reminds of other games like Shadow of the hedgehog. Those shadowy character who heavily rely on cutscenes, but when you get to controling them, then the game's challenge often mainly relys on you winning over the camera/controls.

I love FFXII. The story may have been lacking but the gameplay kept me into it for nearly 200 hours. I don't feel like I wasted anything. Just throwing that out there.

Also, a game that was a bad deal for me was Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. I bought a copy from GameStop for like 50 bucks and played it maybe ten or twelve hours. I just couldn't get into it. I was hoping for something like Final Fantasy Tactics, which is one of the greatest games ever created, and was sorely disappointed. I traded it back in to re-buy Devil May Cry 3, which I'd gotten rid of earlier for some reason. That was a good trade.

FFXII was ok in my mind. Square Enix seemed to have entered a terrible trend of haveing nearly brainless characters as the main ones. *Vaan and Tidus* It is ok that the game is fairly liniar on what to do, but dear me. I would have enjoyed a bit more of a KOTOR setting to it.

Oh, and speaking of liniar. We miust include the worst games of all time. I am thinking somewhere along the lines of Linus Spacehead from Quadro adventure. About the worst thing about that game is that it is managable to beat, but good luck trying that without useing savestates.

It may not be the worst deal ever, but I regret paying 50 bucks for Starfox Assault, especially since it dropped down to 20 not long after.

Characters like Vaan and Tidus are the reason they create characters like Balthier and Auron. They make up for the manliness that the "main" characters lack. XD

Also, another game I've remembered wasting money on is Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. I was really looking forward to it since I loved the first game so much, but it was ruined by the card battling system. Something like that may've worked for a mini-game in the Colosseum, but as the battle system for the whole game, it was a pretty shoddy idea. I haven't traded that one back in because I did get relatively far, but I still doubt I'll ever finish it unless I suddenly become very, very bored. XD

Hmmm, Tidus and Vaan are still a major negative. I mean how about Zidane from FF IX? He was great to play with and inntresting to get to know. Vaan was about as inntresting to get to know as watching nose hair grow. I am guessing Tidus ain't much better either.

Oh, and now many video's are getting their game titles. Most of the games look terrible at best. There are so many titles there it is hard to start.

I tried a few minutes of it as a rom and got stuck very quickly, so scrapped it^^ The card battling I don't understand, and I think I got lost too at the beginning :/ Now I kinda want to get it because I didn't realize how much info and story was in that one (including Organization chars not shown in 2). Buuuut of course now it's one of those impossible to find games for me :/ More people need to go to EB and trade in their old GBA games^^ That includes Sapphire and Ruby too cause I can't find those ANYWHERE >_<

Zidane is the best male lead character out of all the other Final Fantasy games. Cecil ranks pretty close though.

A while back I bought WoW for 50 bucks, only to see that it dropped to 20 within the next week. Asking The Matrix videogame for my birthday was pretty dumb too. Soul Calibur 2 was also a waste of money. F-Zero GX is fun, but the levels are too freaken hard to even try any more. I bought Metal Slug Anthology, Red Steel, and Rayman Raving Rabids. The last two held some attention, but now they just sit on my shelf collecting dust.

I bought almost every Sims 1 expansion pack, only to end up not playing them anymore because of Sims 2. Thank God I decided to stop that game, or else I would have spent more money on the expansion packs for Sims 2.

Going back to WoW again eh? Prob not on my server, anyhow :P What's your main's race/class out of curiosity?

Yeah it is nice to trade in a bunch of games and get free stuff. My guy just traded in a bunch of PS3 games that didn't up to his expectations much (or just wasn't up to playing them alot) and got a DS and Trauma Center for free. It's only kinda sucky when you get so little credit for what you originally bought them for^^ I'm just the type that almost collects games, in the sense that I'll try to get around to them all eventually, but would regret if I got rid of one (some being pretty hard to find nowadays), for if I wanted to play it later on in the future. Yup that's me: buy more than I have time to play^^

If they'd pushed the angle of the whole, "I want to be a Skypirate" thing more, he might have had more going for him in my mind.

Oh, and how about this one? My computer was down and I was having serious Sims cravings, so I wasted good Trade-in money on The Sims 2 for PS2. I think I played it for all of five minutes before I got sick of the weak character creation and lifeless gameplay. It looks like the sims... Goodness knows it -talks- like the sims. Shame it's nothing else.

I can't think of any glaringly bad deals I've ever gotten. I rarely buy brand-new games, and I'm actually pretty good at ferreting out obscure, but enjoyable, treasures for relatively little money. ($5 Mischief Makers! Huzzah!)

However, I do regret paying $26 for a used copy of Monster Rancher 2 at a used game store, only to find the pawn shop behind my house selling it for a measely 11 dollars. *headdesk* It cost more than the secondhand PlayStation 1 I bought to play it, darn it! (That was $20. Not too bad.)

Aw man! Mischief Makers and an old Playstation for $20? I thought I was cool for owning a Saturn that I bought for $32 and Mischief Makers looks beyond quirky with Japanese goodness!

*feels left out*

Notice: I am never using "aw man", and "cool" to describe myself in a post ever again. Quirky Japanese goodness will be used only on holidays.

Let's see....The only bad deals I've had with video games are the ones I've rented (especially from Blockbuster)...When u rent a video game (or a DVD for that matter) it never fails to ask them to check the disc for scratchs...
You would not believe how many times I've had to return a video game or movie I was looking very forward to...
For example: Me and my bro once rented Medal of Honor: Rising Sun for our GCN...So, the first disc worked (and was amazing)...the 2nd disc...we were disapointed to find out that we could not continue the story...It was a really good game too...

Sharing Time(TM): My friends and I once rented Mario Kart: Double Dash, but the disc was so scratched it couldn't read. No matter how we tried to fix it, it didn't work. So flash forward a few months... I BUY DD, and I SNORE it was the EXACT SAME DISC we rented. Same issues with not reading, and I think it even had one particularly prominent scratch in the same place!

I did get my money back, though.

So it really IS bad as the reviews say? I know the IGN one was bad, that that's just one opinion where others said it takes some getting used to, but still good.

Sonic the Hedgehog for the PS3. Absolutley crappy, Azier's right they stopped being good and they also lost their originality. I remember playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Sega Genesis. Honestly I could never get past level 5, but I always had a ball.

And also Shadow of Destiny for the PS2. I realize that when new systems come in there are bound to be some crappy games, but this one takes the cake for me. I don't need to say more for this one.

Oh no. It's bad. Really bad.

In fact, THIS is the game I will forever use as proof that game play matters more then graphics.

I mean, how am I supposed to PLAY a game when I can't even get the controls to work? Even some of the worst Wii games are more responsive then the right and left titling of the Sixaxis controller.

And yes, for a good comparison, playing TROGDOR is more fun then Lair. Sony might have copied Nintendo, but they haven't lived up to the quality of the Wii yet for motion sensing.

Grandia Xtreme. I was and still am a huge Grandia II fan. Was so excited there was another Grandia coming out. Bought it for $50 from Best Buy, playing for maybe an hour or two. Screamed "WHAT HAVE YOU PEOPLE DONE?!", turned off the PS2 and never touched it again.
