I am going to be honest and say not all of them are any good, quite frankly the amount of GOOD games out of that sea of titles equates pretty much to the Gamecube and Xbox's amounts.

I would have to disagree with you there. In addition to the large number of excellent games that most people agree upon as good games, there are many "niche" titles. The most prominent example is Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, which I enjoy immensely, but was overlooked by most other people. Other examples include Robotech: Battlecry, Street Fighter EX3, and the Armored Core series.

I agree with you that the Xbox has a large online library. That is one of the strong points of the Xbox.

I find the Xbox lacking in many areas. Amazing hardware builds a great console not. There just aren't enough games that scream 'BUY ME' that I couldn't be able to get for PC anyway (KOTOR!).

The PS2 is nice and dandy, with RPGs and amazing single-player games.

The 'cube has that too, and really nice multiplayer games (SSBM!). Awesome exclusives. I really need to get Metroid Prime soon.

My personal favourite is my Gamecube, just because I own one. However, I'm not against the PS2. It too has some amazing games (FF!), although the hardware is a year older than its competitors. But, I'm not really one of those graphics obsessed people ("MUST GET HIGHER FRAMERATE!!")
