Recently rented and played Street Fighter X Tekken. Honestly I wasn't THAT impressed by the game. The Street Fighter cast was mostly just redone versions of their Super Street Fighter 4 models (with a couple of new characters like Rolento, Hugo and Posion thrown in) while the Tekken cast didn't play like they do in the Tekken games AT ALL (they felt more like SNK characters to be honest). Also, only 11 backgrounds? Surely there could have been more. Finally, the gem system: I honestly didn't care for that and most of the time I was just activating them by accident. Basically felt like something CapCom just added at the last moment to try and make the game feel different from Super Street Fighter 4/Marvel vs CapCom 3.

All in all I'd give the game a 6.5 out of 10. I would never buy it new, but probably would if I found it cheaper somewhere as a pre-played title.

Ahh... Mirror's Edge. The PC's version's Antipiracy thing had me giggling like a schoolgirl.

In any case, just playing me Demon's Souls. Harsh as heck.

I am still playing Dark Souls which I here is a bit easier than Demon's soul so good luck to you.

Also Mirrors edge is a lot of fun until it loses alot of the running segments and tries to be a shooter near the end.

Dabbled in some stuff recently.
Unreal Tournament 2004: I suck, but I have it and it runs on Linux.
Quake3: Same as above except I'm using the free engine with the openarena content replacement since I don't have the game yet (I need to pick it up).
Battle for Wesnoth: Free open source fantasy turn-based strategy game.
League of Legends: Still play a couple rounds most weekday evenings.
Nethack: I'm always playing Nethack, yo. You should too.
Half-Life 1: I will finish it one day!

I would be playing Skyrim, but I have trouble mentally allocating a reasonable block of time for it (too addictive, only choice is to avoid entirely atm).

Arma 2 and Mass Effect 3. Both are excellent and well made games. ^^
Derek -The Daring Pokemon - A cool, totally awesome Pokemon that uses his power of song, medical skills and powers of cool to make others see things differently. He is not temperamental, but he likes to pull pranks and grins when you fall into his traps. Usually, he styles a fedora and prances around on all fours, he's all black with a white belly.

The first Silent Hill. I beat it once, but got the second worst ending. I'm gonna try to get the best ending now.

Mirror's Edge is a great game and a lot of fun. I had to reinstall it however due to a bug.

Finally finished Catherine. Man was that a weird game. Even outside of the nightmares with sheep men, chainsaw-wielding demon babies and murderous fork-wielding girlfriends. Also, one of very few games that has a transsexual in the cast of characters.

I love you, ATLUS. Keep making weird stuff and I'll keep buying it.

Just played a little game known as Journey on the PSN. It's less than two hours long but it's a little slice of heaven. If you enjoyed Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, it has a similar vibe although there's no fighting, it's just simple platforming.

Finished Mass Effect 3.

Well. I should start off saying that I love all the Mass Effect games. The story and the general theme of unity (not uniformity, like in the Singularity ending) have captured me since the first game. And even though they dropped many role-playing elements in ME2, it was still a great game, with great combat mechanics. They even improved on that in the third game.

99% of Mass Effect 3 was as close to perfect as I've seen in a game since Baldurs Gate (of course, different kind of game, but I'm talking about fun I had with a game-series).

But, to get to the point, the last 15 minutes of the game kind of ruined it for me.
From the moment Harbingers beam hits Shepard, it feels like a different story. Every logic seems to have been thrown out of the window. Anderson somehow reached the beam before you, even though the whole ground team has supposedly been obliterated, and he looks rather unharmed, compared to Shepards charred, ruined armor. But I could live with that. But then this AI god-child shows up out of nowhere, tells you, it controlled the Reapers all along, and they were its solution. To prevent synthetics from destroying organic life, it made some super-synthetics to return every 50.000 years to kill all evolved civilizations? After Shepard just united the Geth and the rest of the universe, proving, that synthetics are NOT bound to destroy organic life. Meh.

And Shepard, who has always found a way to deal with hopeless situations, not accepting it, when someone told him/her something is impossible, but finding his/her own way. And now, suddenly, Shepard just nods, not even asking the burning questions about all the holes in the Catalysts story? I don't buy it.

Then you get to choose between the 3 endings. Control, shown by the example of none other than the Illusive Man, in Paragon-Blue? And the Destroy-ending (Shepards goal since meeting Sovereign) is Renegade-Red, shown by Anderson? Oh, and, of course, the Green one. Turning the strenght of all the different races, their differences (which were referenced by Javik, the prothean, as this cycles' greatest strenght), completly away by making EVERY SINGLE being some synthetic-organic hybrid... That one was probably the worst ending for me.

But hey, it gets worse... After that crappy choice, you choose what color the wave that destroys the Mass Relays is, thereby stranding ALL THE FLEETS OF THE GALAXY in the Sol-System, at Earth, practically saying "hey, there you are, not enough resources for everybody and no way to go home". And the Normandy apparently left the battle on Earth, miraculously having the crew members that were with you, when starting toward the beam on board, instead of with Shepard, to flee through a Mass Relay, right before they blow up. Just to strand somewhere in the galaxy. Why would Joker, of all people, abandon the battle? How did my squadmates I took with me to the last push get on the Normandy? I don't know. There is no epilogue or semething of that kind to explain anything. No idea what happened to Garrus, Ashley, or my LI, Liara after defeating the reaper threat (at least that much we know after the "ending").

Oh, and don't forget Buzz Aldrins 30 seconds of voice acting, where Bioware practically tells you "Oh yeah, and don't forget to buy some DLC".
Well. there you have it. My little rant on the Ending of one of the most enjoyable games ever.

While, I've finally finished the main quest lines in Oblivion and Skyrim, so I'm working on Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Does anyone else get excited when you see names of characters from the original game? I need to install that again to my laptop.

Also, I have my PS2 in my room. Playing through Snake Eater (again) and finally giving Dark Cloud 2 a try. Once I'm done with Snake Eater, I'll work on finishing Dragon Quest VIII.

I've been playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on my family's GameCube lately, kinda picking up where I left off a little while ago. I often have to try again because I MUST NOT LET ANYONE DIE OR EPIC FAIL. (This is true, I always try to keep everyone alive if I'm playing a strategy game. This has caused me much frustration in the past.)

I've also been playing Rock Band 3 with my sister, which has been fun because we just get to talk about whatever. It's fun to make your character have a crazy hair style, like a top hat and bright purple hair. My sister and I also like to (if we can) make a Rock Band version of a character from some TV show or anime or something. (We don't do it that often to be honest.) We find it fun to see how close to the original we can get it.

I'm behind on so many games... I start em and never finish.

Currently working on LA Noir, Batman: Arkham City, Assassins Creed II, and I started playing Mortal Kombat 9 again which is still a blast even when you're playing alone.

Finished Deus Ex: HR. It was Surprisingly good and is my choice as best game of 2011. I had feared for it, but it managed well. Even the dumb cover based shooting worked reasonably well - and I have *never* felt more like a super-human than in this game.

Also playing Old Republic: awesome horrible time sink that even now entices me to check the status of my sales.

For the first time in my life, more than five years after I first started playing Marathon, I finally have beaten every level in the trilogy on Total Carnage. Which admittedly is not an impressive accomplishment, but I'm sure proud of it.

I finally finished Oendan 2! That last song was a doozy on the hardest level

I've put Quintessence on temporary hold so I can focus on finishing Super Scribblenauts (it's my roommate's). Only three constellations left!
