most lackluster/disappointing games ever

Have a video game or or VG review? This is the place to to discuss it! We also accept discussions of board games and the like, but SHHH! Don't tell anyone, OK?

The movements so slow and frustrating that after one round I just want to throw the consol out the window.

Heh, I feel that way about anygame XD.

I haven't played a lot of games I don't like, but Unlimited Saga is annoying to no end even if I love the animation style.

Bleach GC: Tasogare Ni Mamieru Shinigami was also quite a dissapointment. I was anticipating this game for like... forever. But when I snagged a copy, it was a pretty mediocre fighting game. Pretty choppy.

Dude, the first NARUTO GCN game was better quality than the Bleach one. The controls were very weird. The fighting was messed up, and the characters had mouths that didn't move. And SEGA made it too! *shakes fist*

Have you played Capcom's Disney games from the NES and SNES era? Mickey's Mousecapade, Duck Tales, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse... those are some of the best side scrollers ever made, mostly because it's a combo of Capcom's design and controls with Disney magic.

I have indeed played a few and they are some of Capcom's finest. ^_^ The only beef I have with The Little Mermaid, though, is that is wasn't long enough; it would have been so much better if they added in a few more levels!

I forgot about The Little Mermaid game. I absolutely loved that game, although I never owned it. I sure did rent it though. Certainly needed more levels.

Actually, I'm hoping that Capcom's old Disney library of games will be available for download on the Wii, at least eventually. I would really like to try out the sequels to Duck Tales and Rescue Rangers.

But I'm getting off-topic.

Duck Tales ruled Rogie. As far as disapointing games...I would have to say FFX-2. I bought it, played half way through it, and it got tossed on a game rack in my room. I just felt it was very hollow. I loved FFX.

You find that you have a weapon, an instrument that
will give you power over the wind and sea.
In one word, you can stop time. It is a weapon
so powerful that even God will bow
down to you and all his angels fall at your feet.
What would you do with it?
