Silent Hill 2 (PC version) - Legal download?

Anyone know where I can legally download Silent Hill 2 online (PC version)? I know I'm ridiculously late to the game but I've heard great things about it. Would it even run on Windows XP? I'm willing to pay for it but free is good too. ;) Thanks

I'm pretty sure it'd run on XP. I own it on PS2, so I don't know much about the PC version, but have you checked Stream? Maybe that's too obvious. Not trying to insult your intelligence, I haven't gotten on Steam in a while.
