Ranking the Phoenix Wright Games

Postby Neosevangel » Mon Jul 28, 2008 3:09 pm

In honor of Miles Edgeworth Perfect Prosecutor. (that is the confirmed title) I have decided to start a thread where fans can proclaim their favorite of this charming, sleeper hit franchise. For me it's a tie between Apollo Justice and the original iteration. Apollo Justice had a charming cast and was actually the game that resolved me into buying a DS. It also utilized many of the DS functions. However the first was just well balanced all around. Great characters, a thought inducing narratives, and a quirky soundtrack made the first game one of (if not) the best. Also, the writing in the Ace Attorney series, KNOCKS MY SOCKS OFF! So witty! I love it!

I have to cast my lot with the third game. It was a fantastic close for the trilogy.

Agreed. My favorite part was when Phoenix casts his final lot and absolutely pwns the prosecutor... all this while playing the Original song from the first game.

I was having chills all over simply because of the epicness.

To choose between all four of these games is tough. I enjoyed them all. Im not sure if I can really put a one to four scale on these because to me this game series was a on-going game series. One big story(Well except for game four, but I still liked it.). Each with it's own charm. To even think about ranking these would have to be graded based on the cases. I will say this I enjoy five case games than four case games. So games two and four are out(But that doesn't mean I didn't love them.).

It would be between game one and three. Game one for the great introduction into Phoenix's world and game four for the close on Phoenix's time as being an defense attorney(Remember Phoenix never really left the game series. Just his ocupation.).
Im so sorry I have to say this but I can't choose between any of them.(Even the second and fourth. Sorry you guys.)

Im so sorry this was a waste of a post. *Gives reader pocky*

I'd have to say that the third game was probably my favorite. Mostly because it introduced Godot, my second favorite character, and allowed you to play as Edgeworth for a while. XD

Also the final case was an excellent ending to the first series.
