Ding! That's what it was. Now I have the name of it back in my head... :( And after I worked so hard to forget it. Why oh why did I have to return to this thread. It's like a dog returning... No, wait... That might offend the OP.

I know of some that have shut down lately, but I don't see piracy being the main reason for it. It's also something with all these companies buying each other and stuff... lots of interesting things going on.

Rock Band is awesomeness. I won't ever be trading that in... it's so much better than Guitar Hero(even though I am keeping GH too). It's a blast though. I use the GH guitar with Rock Band though... the one in the bundle kind of sucks. That's the only complaint I have with Rock Band. I didn't like their Guitar too much... but thankfully the GH guitars are compatible with it on the 360. I heard the PS3 has problems with that though, so it may be 360 only, that you can do that.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles is set to come out on May 28th... granted that they don't push it back or something. Here is info on it - [url]http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/driving/midnightclublosangeles/index.html?tag=tabs]

Haha, yeah, it was hard to let the lunchbox go :p but I kept the controllers and memory cards at least, so I can use those on the Wii :) I wish the 360 and PS3 had backwards compatibility like the Wii does... instead, the 360 only plays a handful of the good Xbox games... and the 80gb PS3 has issues with running some PS2 games. Argh!!

Anyways... traded in Mister Mosquito earlier... man, that game was odd.

You think they would've just done a GH guitar for Rock Band and save everyone the trouble of having to purchase extra guitars and such. Yeah, Rock Band is definitely another game I want to pick up my only problem is it's soooo expensive! >___< This makes my wallet sob....

YAY! Thanks for the link! This looks like it may be another awesome installment in the series. I hope it's not pushed back either!

Really? I have an 80GB PS3 and it plays my PS2 games just fine. I hope that's not a glitch I'll encounter down the road kind of like the XBox 3 rings of death.

Let's see I traded in Growlanser: Heritage of War, kept all the collectibles it came with but just didn't like it at all. Instead, I put the money towards Sega Superstars Tennis for the Wii.....one word: Ulala!!

It's nice to see her out of SC5 again! ^___^

After beating FFVII:CC on PSP, I decided to play FFVII again. To my complete disappointment, it appears that my copy of FFVII is now missing. This frustrates me on several levels. Not only can I no longer play the game, but finding another copy at a reasonable price is next to impossible now.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. Yeah, I know what you mean about Rock Band... by the time I get the bills, gas money and everything else sorted, I am left with just a little, so I gotta save over the weeks or hope overtime at work continues.

Yeah, I am indeed looking forward to the new Midnight Club! I haven't even finished PGR4 or Forza 2 all the way, due to being short on time haha but I can't wait for a good new racer.

I've got the 80gb PS3 too... but I was told the 80gb model is running emulation software, which makes sense considering what I have encountered myself. There are some games that glitch bad, and some that won't even work. I just bought Mana Khemia: Alchemist of Al-Revis, a newer PS2 game, and it doesn't work at all. I have had about 7 games not work for me so far... about 3 that were glitch filled and had major framerate problems. That's a small amount considering the PS2 library, but it can be a bit upsetting if you go in expecting the backwards compatibility like the PS2 had.

I know someone who tested the backwards compatibility on the 60gb model and the 80gb model, and they found that the 60gb model was much better. They tested their whole PS2 collection, which was 124 games total. The 60gb version played all but 30 of the games, while the 80gb model played only 68 of his games. So it just all depends on which games you have in your collection of course... but I just found it really upsetting when I learned of that. I've gotten over it, but just be aware to check some websites that have lists of games that work and don't work on the PS3. :)

I've also heard that the future PS3 models are gonna lose the backwards compatibility all together... I can't confirm that bit of info, but it wouldn't surprise me... it makes me sad. I am still upset about very few Xbox games working on the 360... I don't feel I should have to keep 4762786262 systems to unhook and hook up all the time. :p I'm just picky like that :hits_self One system to play all games! FTW ( bad for business, but good for me  )

Sega Superstars Tennis is a game I have been thinking about... not sure which system to get it for, but I am thinking the Wii version would be the most fun :)

I'm trading in Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, Baroque and Art of Fighting Anthology tomorrow, after work.

I still have every game since my dad's Atari and me winning the NES from MCDonalds when I was only 4 years old. I was destined to play games, i guess...
But still have that exact console, It sits in my attic, I'll eventually bring it down to my shelf just as decoration, with my SEGA and other systems.

But I keep every game.
The only time I lost one was because of this kid borrowing one of my Ninja Turtles game, which was awesome! And the kid told me he lost it, and to make me feel better gave me a bugs bunny game??? (Which wasn't the best game if you could only imagine)

Did you see the new one?

It has two new main characters though, so not the same ones you remember.

Looks neat.

LOL, maaaannnnn... I've lost more games than all you youngsters put together!!! (I'm saying that because I'm so old!! ;_;)
I lost an entire library of N64 games (around forty) and the 64 to the pawnshop when I couldn't get them out... I lost several Gamecube games to my ex when we broke up (approx. 20), my son lost at least four GBA & DS games... I lost around six or seven GC/PS2 games when Ichi and I combined our collections, only to have him move back to PA and take his copies with him (<_>) and that's not to mention the various NES/SuperNES/Gameboy games from my youth... I tried to recover some of those games over the years, with mixed results. One day... one day...

I traded up Heavenly Sword and Ninja Gaiden Sigma for MGS4... WOuld have ditched Resistance as well, but it's my best offline multiplayer game (UT3 being my favorite ONLINE multiplayer game, since I play mods with my friend all the time, along with anyone else we can pull into them), so I couldn't afford to ditch it. Besides, once "Quest For booty" hits, I won't be surprised if Insomniac starts on ratchet and resistance trophies... Don't want to miss out on THAT.
