For how much I loved FFT:A, I'm raring to get on the direct followup. {/sarcasm}

Really, I'm just glad that the original is being remade on PSP... So much better of a game, and now with pretty cutscenes, what could be better? Tactics Advanced? It just doesn't hold up to the original... Not a big fan of the Judges... It was cool to have fighting Moogles with different classes, though... I just preferred the first one... Square has experimented with that "world building" thing before (the original Seiken Densetsu 4, before they were so embarassed by it that they made an entirely new one on PS2) and... Yeah, I don't know, I like being able to rotate the field, too...

I admit, it is a different game... I shouldn't expect it to be like the original, it's just that it took something special to get me into the original, I'm not really getting that feeling... It's not the same enough for the nostalgia, not "better" enough to warrant the change. That's just my opinion, of course. I don't really wanna knock people who like it and are into it.

[button="Off Topic"]Nate: Ok, maybe getting my Naval knowledge from Star Trek isn*t the best idea, but... Captain? Isn*t a Navy captain the leader of a boat? It*s a higher rank in the Navy than in the other branches, I believe...[/button]

Yeah, that always bugged me about Tactics Advance. I hated not being able to rotate the field.

And yes, a Captain is an O-6 in the Navy, whereas I believe a Captain is only an O-3 in other branches...something like that.
