Found out today that me and the wife have to pay close to $4,000 back to SSI.

Dear God,

Please help Roy & his wife with this unexpected financial hardship. Whether that is providing them with the funds to repay it and/or help to fight the paperwork showing that they don't owe it. Please be their defense and shelter during this time. Thank you.

I will pray for you, but keep in mind what I told another poster who was having financial problems. If you give to God first and trust He will take care of you, He will. This has happened to us and multiple others who we know.
What's the SSI?

SSI stands for Supplemental Security Income, it's part of the Social Security system. And Roy is a married adult, I'm pretty sure he doesn't need to be preached to about tithing and giving in offering if that's what you were trying to get at.

I'm sorry, Roy. I've been in repayment before and it really stinks. I pray that this is resolved for you guys soon!

I wish that it could be resolved soon, but it doesn't look like it. In the fall, we have to start paying out student loans and we are trying to pay off our credit cards, so we will be pay this off for a good number of years as payment plans.

Praying. Hopefully, with the payment plans it will not be too much of a stress or at least it will somewhat ease the anxiety a little.

Praying for God's will and blessing and peace for you. This has to be really stressful. He'll come through.

We are going to have to do a payment plan for this, but it is going to take a few years to pay it all off. Also, I have to go to a hematologist, because my platelets are a bit low and my hemoglobin is a bit high. I'm not really worried about this, as this maybe due to my heart problem or the AIDS meds that I take and nothing else.
