Yesterday during lunch I found out that a classmate of mine who sits next to me in choir tried to kill herself. She's a really awesome girl and it upsets me so much.

If you haven't already, tell an adult right now. Your classmate needs serious help, and whatever problems she's dealing with aren't going to go away without it.

Adults need to be involved in this. If you want to pray about it go ahead, but more important than that is understanding, friendship, and education amongst those around you. Involve the administration at the school. You all are old enough to have real troubles and there is no telling what is going on in her head, but she needs help, she is not a psychologist, and once someone has tried once their risk of trying again greatly increases.

Call the parents, call the school, then pray. That should be your priorities in such a case. If you for some anxiety-based reason find it more fitting to only quietly pray in such a situation, then I would not be able to find the words to describe my disgust because that would be a MAJOR violation of both human and divine nature. So just in case you've not, you should do so right now.
If you've done or will do so right now, then that's fine.

There are adults involved. Her parents know and I'm pretty sure are the ones who found out first. They had to take her to the hospital so many adults are helping her right now. And I'm going to be praying with my choir teacher for her (cuz my choir teacher is amazing) Thank you everyone for you concern and prayers!
