As of yesterday, the Steam Forums got hacked, the hacker stole information from the forums, including encrypted credit card information. I pray that the hacker or hackers will be caught, and that Valve will successfully up their security. And that the people who got their info stolen will get their money back.

Steam notified everyone at their next login and suggested password changes. They're also forcing account confirmation on ALL computers again. One point to make for any regular steam users would be: DON'T save your card data in Steam, or anywhere else really. The convenience isn't worth the issues it can cause.
