Help to make it through the day

I know this might come off as completely selfish, but I stayed up too late last night playing games and this morning my head feels bloated, my eyes feel really sore. I'm having difficulty focusing on work and I feel really moody and irritable. I guess I put too much faith in my new medication (figured I'd still feel great, even with less sleep, but I was wrong). I just need to make it through the day and the work keeps coming in :( Could you please pray for me to somehow make it to 5pm? (6 hours to go). Also, I would really appreciate it if you guys could pray for me for some help to be more disciplined, so I can go to bed at a proper time (the new meds I'm taking ARE actually helping me be more rational, so I feel I can do it).

Praying. I also can't seem to ever got to bed on time! But sleep is as important as anything to our health, and our bodies let us know it.

I'm really not coping today. I'm so swamped with work it just feels pointless to try and catch up. At this point I don't feel like doing anything or care if I miss a deadline :shake:

Praying for that, too. Keep working hard. I know how that feels, too, but we have to keep going!

Thank you. Apart from the little sleep, I think my mindset has to do with the conversation I had with my mother at breakfast this morning. She said last night on the radio, when I was asleep and she was still up, they had a call-in program where people phoned in and had to say what they regret most in their lives. One person said he regretted doing a job for 20 odd years that wasn't his passion. When my mom asked me "What is your passion? What do YOU want to be doing for the rest of your life?" I had absolutely no idea what to answer, which in turn caused her to say how worried she is that I'm 31 and it seems like I'm not heading anywhere in my life. It's been haunting me the entire day :(

Prayin' for ya man. I do know how it feels to stay up the whole night just to regret it the next day. >_>

Anyway I hope you'll find something your passionate about, but don't get to stressed about it. God is all you really need, though I understand how it feels to be without a certain passion for something.

I'm trying REALLY hard not to be negative and despondent here, but I'm failing miserably :waah!: At this stage they might as well fire me, I don't care :shake:
