CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Just Thursday a guy I was best friends with in high school passed away. He jumped his car off a railroad crossing going too fast and lost control when he landed, losing control and hitting a telephone poll. In the time after we graduated we started going on our separate paths, and there were issues between us, but I miss him. He was a heck of a friend, and we had some good times together. Tomorrow is his funeral and I will be presenting a small speech.

Kids, I know sometimes things may come up with your and friends, and sometimes you may go your own ways, but please don't let hard feelings come between you. I know it's been said a thousand times, but life is short. I can't say I saw this coming, and I can't take back the times I hurt him. Please pray for his girlfriend and family especially, they're taking it hard.

I will pray- it always feels too soon, always too sudden when we lose people.

Will be praying. I lost an old high school friend at the beginning of the school year (He was a Sophomore when I graduated) and while we weren't too close to begin with and I hadn't spoken to him in close to two years, it still really shook my world.

It's amazing how real life becomes when we lose a friend, to say the least.
