Sleep

I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately. I've been so wound up for school that I can't get a full night's sleep- I wake up over an hour before I have to be up.
Last night I figured I'd try to tire myself out by staying up an extra hour, and that backfired- I woke up over two hours earlier than I have to get up.
Please pray that I'll stop being so anxious and manage to sleep more!

Thanks! It is, and I've been following all these rules and advice about how to get a good night's amount (only use the bed for sleeping, I make sure that I'm nice and warm) but it doesn't seem to work
I've been thinking about going to the doctor about it, because I'm gonna burn out like this.

Maybe some over-the-counter sleep aids?

Melatonin and Valerian root are OTC sleep aids. May want to give those a shot. Also Ultram

Hmmm. I might try the natural stuff, since over-the-counters don't seem to affect me much.
I'll definitely look into them! Thanks!

Tension Tamer tea by Celestial Seasonings has Valerian root in it, I think, and it actually works on me. So if you like herbal teas, maybe try that out sometime as well. I wouldn't recommend mixing it with OTC sleep meds like diphenhydramine HCL though (AKA Benadryl), just because I have no idea how that would affect a person.
