A friend

I have a friend online who deals with a lot of the same stuff I do. Everytime we talk, and I'm not doing ok, she blames herself, says it's because she can't make me happy. I keep trying to tell her it's not her fault, that my unhappiness all has to do with me, my personality, and my past, but she keeps blaming herself. I tried to tell her that again, that it's never her fault if I'm unhappy (because really, someone's happiness never comes from one single person) but I think I upset her, because she said something that made it clear she's upset, then she logged off. I didn't get annoyed, or mad, or angry, or irritated, or upset, or anything, with her, at all, and I still manage to make things worse.

I'll be praying for your friend. It doesn't matter what the source of unhappiness is, I am praying that it will all be for God's glory in the end.

Well, we're working things out (thank God she got back online and let me explain) but please keep praying she'll stop blaming herself for stuff that isn't her fault.

And another friend is having severe family issues. Please pray for her.

You should probably atleast acknowledge the fact that she's trying to make you feel better. I know that it may not, but you could atleast thank her for trying.

No, I think that you could make it more explict, though.

I think people on this site should stop assuming so much.

Unfortunately, it's a habit since so much of life requires them, such as in what I just said.
