I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I live by myself. Tonight there was a man outside my place shouting something and banging on the door. He's gone now, and I don't know why he was here and I'm not sure what he was shouting (it sounded like "Thanks for the meal" which is... weird...) but I'm terrified, and it occurred to me that without a cell phone, I have no way to call anybody if something bad happens. So, yeah... I need God's protection tonight.

Strangely enough, a similar thing happened to a friend of mine in Korea. Some guy was walking into random apartments. Luckily, she had her door locked and he never came again. Just keep yours locked and be careful!!

Probably just went to the wrong house, or he could just be crazy.

It would be a good idea to have something that would help protect yourself.

I'm definitely in agreement with the suggestion to get a lock for your door, and a pay-as-you-go cell phone should work for you if you're on a budget. Guy was probably drunk (or at the least, confused) but it's best to be careful and prepared. I'll be praying .

Yeah, I'm guessing he was drunk. I live right next to some kind of dingy apartments, so I'm going to guess that he was looking for someone there. The only thing is, I had a new male student start this week and my coworkers are suspicious that he might be a stalker. I've been (and still am) hesitant to believe that, because there's no real evidence for it, but the possibility seems a bit more realistic now. I'm not going to assume it was that guy or anything. And if it happens only the one time, I think I'll assume it was some guy I don't know who was drunk.

I've been looking into getting a cell phone, but the timing hasn't been working out. After this, though, I think I'm going to make the timing work out. TODAY.

We got my cell phone today, and the more I think about it the more likely it seems that it was a drunk rather than a stalker. so I think I'll be okay.
