To day at 12:20 my laptop fell off the table and the screen broke like a break to a window. Now as some of you may know I've been having troble with lust for a while now and I have asked God to rid me of this. There's 3 computers in my house and I only looked that kind of stuff on my lap top as I was vary scaried that my parents would find out(thouh I've always kinda wanted them to find out so I can get rid of the one thing that gives me temption). Any way I think my prays have been answered seeing as I've lost the one thing giving me the temption. I'm a little scared about how my parents well react when they find out my laptop is broken forever, but I know they'll forgive me for it eventuly(but man their going to be angry at first) So can you guys keep praying for me pray that I stay away form lust ,also tell me how should I handle this siscuation and how do you feel about how God answered my prays :?:

I can relate, about three years ago I had gone several months and was doing well (From about June or July to March) and one day I slipped up and was browsing on my laptop when I caught a virus, which then spread more viruses, that took over the computer, leaving the computer virtually unusable. My only option was to call my dad, who works with the building and cleanup of computers daily, and explain what I had done. While we had tried to clean the system of its viruses, it never fully recovered, and last I knew, it still sits dead in our basement.

Sometimes God works in ways that we absolutely would not expect, and actually come to dread. That is the one thing I remember from that day, when that computer caught the first virus and then my antivirus not being able to catch up with the attack, I knew I'd been caught red-handed.

I pray that this can truly be an end for you, brother. My suggestion would be to try to explain to your parents what happened, and then once they're calmer, explain to them why it is a good thing. It is one of the most painful things I've done, coming out to my seeming addiction to lust. But in the end, it has set me free, and just by being open and admitting my faults, made people want to help me, which I was certainly not expecting! Three and a half years later later, I am one day farther from the pit. Still struggling, crawling some days, but walking away.

God bless. :)

The same thing happened to be recently. I was praying about those things and then my laptop got crushed in airport luggage. :]

Even I have trouble with that every once and a while. Mostly through shear force of will, I pick up my bible and read the thru the gospels. That way, my thoughts are filled with good and holy things instead of lustful thoughts.

Glad to hear that your prayers were answered, but it's a shame about your laptop :(

I'll pray that all works out ^^ Hopefully, this time away from the internet/limited use will make you stronger once you do come back to the world wide web (?) ^^

Well my parents were not mad at all. I know how to fix the screen, and I told them that I'll pay for a new screen(which will give me time away from the computer) but I'm gonna take my time getting the money. I just hope that I don't get tempted to look on our home com(the one I'm using now) So keep on praying and give me advice
