Really need prayer

Hey guys, been having really really bad panic attacks lately. To give you a example yesterday I spent 4 hours crying and thinking up a ton a stupid scenarios, like someone close dies or someone leaves me just stuff like that. Also been having a lot of self esteem problems. Just wish I was better for people I guess, but they have been really bad lately. So bad I had a random thought about killing myself the other day. Which I know is stupid I don't know why I thought it. I kinda wondering if this is all spiritual because other then one thing, everything in my life lately has been great. Way better then it has my whole life. So I really need prayer.
Thanks

Aw, man. Sounds like that's been pretty hard for you! I know that you don't have your age posted, but depending, it could be hormones- you'd be surprised at how many teenagers just have emotional moments with laughing and crying for no reason- and if they're strong enough, they can give depressing/suicidal thoughts. I know that I hit a few of those during my teen years >.>"
If you get those scenarios again, you could try turning them into something productive- have you ever heard of books like the Zombie Survival Guide? You could try writing out contingency plans for hospital emergencies and friends leaving (as part of this plan, I suggest having one step be "have stash of junk food and good movies/books").
Regardless, I'll be praying that things come out fine!

I actually have been wondering if they are hormones lol, buts its actually worst feeling then I had when I was growing and going throw puberty so it might be a mixture.
Yea that sounds like a good idea, its just like my mind keeps racing thinking about the worst things that could happen, It kinda drives me crazy and I a almost start believing they happened. The only way they stop is if I pray.
Thank you for praying for me

I'm so sorry you're having trouble Maka. Remember what is true. I will be praying for you.
Sometimes I get really scared at night. I can't stop thinking of "what ifs" and it makes me really anxious. Talking to God helps and He reminds me that no matter how much I worry about and come up with terrible things they probably won't even happen. He will be there with you no matter what comes. The next morning I sometimes can't even remember what I was so worried about. Even when it looks so dark remember that there is light. You're on the winning team.
Hang in there. You can do this!

Sorry to hear that you're going through this, Makachop. I know what this is like all too well. I battled with it for years, and still do every now and then. Personally, I found it easiest to listen to relaxing Christian music and do some calming Bible reading (especially in Psalms) whenever something like this happened. It's a hard battle to fight, but it's not impossible.
I have faith in you! And, I'll be praying.

If you're having really bad panic attacks, you should go see a therapist. Mental health issues are still health issues, and if you had severe pain in your body, you'd go to a doctor, right? Same thing with this. I'll pray for you, but if it's getting this bad, you really do need to go see a professional.

I agree with Nate. Many people say "Psychiatrist? Hah! Only crazy people go to them!" Unfortunately, a cliche has been placed on doctor appointments with them. It could really help you if you'd give it a try.
I'll be praying for you, and hang in there.

I'm sorry you having a rough time. I suffer from panic disorder so I can relate to them. I don't think that mental health is always just a result of demons etc. I think its a legitimate chemical imbalance of the adrenal glands. Talking to a doc, therapist and/or psychiatrist can be helpful in ruling out any other medical issues.
Prayer, reading, music and even putting on some candles help me relax when it happens. All I can say is don't fight them, let it pass and if it helps, pray while its occurring. Keep your thoughts focused on God to help ease the panic.
Will be praying.

Thanks guys, I would go to one but the only thing close to them here use things I don't agree with, and spiritual things. I live in a crazy area lol to give you a picture that book "This Present Darkness" by Frank E. Peretti is based off of where I live. So pretty much the only thing close to a mental health place here uses weird stuff (Already looked) but I can look again I think I might need to.

Yea I kinda tried to like chill out and put on music and that sort of thing, didn't help. I actually last night put on a anime and XD being adhd kinda helped with the distraction. Most likely not the best way of dealing with it though lol

Heya Maka-chan. I'm sorry to hear you've been having a hard time lately with panic and anxiety. I agree with a majority of what people have said in this thread about relaxing, trying to distract yourself and even seeing someone about it.
Just know that even when you're in the throes of a panic attack that everything is going to be all right, that you will be all right, and that everything will be fine because eventually your high anxiety level will go down and you'll start to feel calmer. Do you have anyone you can go too or talk too when you're having these panic attacks or when you're crying? Sometimes it helps to have a support system around you who are positive and reassuring.
I know when I'm really stressed or worrying about something I love to recite this verse: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
I will keep you in my prayers and if you ever need to talk feel free to PM me.

My husband gets these frequently about me. He'll randomly start panicking over my well-being, wondering if I'm dead or hurt even when he knows where I am and what I'm doing. He sees a counselor for it and it helps immensely since a lot of these emotions come from things he went through as a kid. He struggles with self-esteem too. So I would echo Nate's request to see a counselor, preferably Christian in case it IS spiritual. You need someone with the training and discernment to tell what's going on!
But yeah, I will be praying you find comfort as I have seen first hand how it can affect someone. It's rough! But fight it!

Thanks for praying,
I had been going to a counselor but well we got in a argument and it didn't end up well >.< and I went to another one and she was just not working either, but I think I'm feeling a little better I'll see how long it last lol hopefully I'm done with all this for a while.

A year ago, I had some depression waves... I wasn't suicidal, but I worried I'd get that way.
Not fun. Looking back, I think praying made it worse for me: my head went all over the place, and I'd be thinking how unworthy I was to be praying at all.
Eventually, though, the depression just... went away. I don't know what caused it to leave, if there was a cause. I've been good for months now.
So, I'll pray it's the same for you. That is, that your panic attacks are simply gone now.
