Moving and MS

Hey all,

its been a while since i have been here. Been a lot of soul searching and spiritual growth in the Lord.

Unfortunately I'm dealing with the diagnosis of having Multiple Sclerosis that seems to be progressive re-occuring. It means i'll get the symptoms full blown, then they will back off into a remission-like state though not fully and then go full blown again.

This last bout landed me in a wheelchair and created seizures for a while. Right now I'm back on the cane and can off and on walk. Seizures have also been gone for about a month now.

Its all just very stressful and having to see more docs for treatment and diagnosis's for disability makes it moreso.

I'm also moving to Florida to live with my mom and her boyfriend because my sister can't take care of me while trying to take care of her 2 kids and husband. Especially with only one car between them.

For me, Florida brings up a lot of bad memories and I know I'm going to have a hard time going back, not to mention leaving friends that are very close to me here.

Please just pray that while there, I will remember to be a steadfast example of Christ and that I will keep my own prayer life strong as I deal with the doctors and the situations that occur.

Thank you

Kelly

Hey, I think I remember you... At least, I remember that avatar. Welcome back!

Sorry to hear about all these health-related issues. You'll be in my prayers.

Of course I remember you! You were one of my prayer partners/Bible study partners a while back.

I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling so much, friend. M.S. is a tough diagnosis (I have friends and fellow service dog recipients who have it), but you can still live a full and fulfilling life.

I pray that the doctors have wisdom and that things go well between you and your family. God has you moving to Florida for a reason and with Him there is always hope and you know there is a purpose in there.
