A friend of mine from high school got back in touch with me recently. Unfortunately, she did not have much good news. Her mom has been diagnosed with cancer and is in excruciating pain. She is going to the oncologist soon, so please keep her in prayer.

Also, pray for my friend. She doesn't know Christ, and I just know this thing with her mom is really tearing her up, since she also lost her dad several years ago.

I'll be praying as well :( Tell her to hang in there and be there for her mom ^^ Sometimes, having someone by your side really helps in different ways

Wow that is so rough.

Lord I ask that you help open this woman's heart to Christ. Give her strength as her mom battles cancer. Please let her realize you are there even in this pain. I pray for her mom that you would also draw her to you. That you would heal her if that is your will. That she would know you and love you Lord. Thank you Father for having your beloved child bring this to us in prayer and please be there for her as well through this difficult time. In Christ's holy name, Amen.

Found out today that the diagnosis is stage 3 ovarian cancer, and it has spread. She is going in for surgery Thursday morning, so please pray that all goes well.

She came through the surgery okay, but the cancer is spread elsewhere and they're going to have to start her on chemotherapy ASAP.

Thank you all for praying, and please continue to pray that God would somehow touch her and my friend through all of this hardship.
