Talking to a Missionary

Hi again there people! :D I've joined my Church's Mission Committee, and I'm in charge of contacting one of the missionaries we support. Please pray that I'll be able to learn about them and not chicken out from shyness! I did e-mail the president to get their e-mail. It was nerve shaking. Me... e-mailing the president of a fairly large mission organization. I'm still a little freaked. Why did they give me one of the hardest to reach? I read the e-mail that I wrote several times to make sure it sounded professional. I'll get used to it I guess if I'm going to be talking to them on a regular basis. Well, this must be what God wants me to do. Thank you for your prayers everyone.

It's okay to make sure that your letters sound appropriate enough, but don't worry about making mistakes. If there are any Godly people who have truly gone through a lot of adversity and know that people aren't perfect, they are missionaries. I've currently interviewed two missionaries through e-mail so I understand how you feel. And both of them were extremely nice and were not uptight about me emailing them or whatever I said in those emails.
