Okay, tomorrow I'm heading to the university I'm going to this fall for orientation and signing up for classes. I'm really nervous! Especially since I'll be moving up there for sure in about a month after this. So hoping for a few prayers that things will go well!

Well, got back.... And I seriously think there might be something to that yin-and-yang thing. After today....

Well, after a long and boring intro to the university, we started signing up for classes. And it was one of the worst experiences ever. Okay, we had from a little after one until five to use the campus and the counselors and whatnot to get ourselves together. It took about two hours for them to finally get to me. We had issues because some of my credits were from out-of-state, so no one knew what transferred and what didn't. Also, some from my in-state college were transferring oddly. So I had to go to two different general counselors, one that could do a general overview, one that helped me get the most from my credits.

Then I went to the biology advisor- on the other side of the campus. That took ten minutes, and then a half-hour/45-minute wait. He told me what I needed overall... BUT had no idea how my chem credits transferred. Went to the chem building next door to talk to the chem counselor. He told me that they would transfer, and that not only would they transfer, but they'd earlier opened some spots for more students, and I was getting one of the last spots on the VERY LAST class they offered!!! :thumb::grin: They signed me up then and there because of the scarcity.

Then I had to walk back to the other end of campus so that I could sign up for the rest of my classes on my own- the couselors don't do that for us. By the time I get there it's 15 till 5, 5 being when everything closes. So I get on a computer..... and my ID and password aren't working. I spend the next 15 mins working with IT to try and get it working, but to no avail.

And now it can't be resolved until Monday, because the campus is closed tomorrow. That's not good. I was in the very last transfer student orientation, which means that my classes might all be taken by the time I get things going.

It's soooooo stressful- by the end of the day I found my mom and bro and cried a little. Overall, the results were so mixed I don't know how I feel about it all.

Ah yes, I can relate the the stress of signing up for classes. That's how it is almost every semester for me. x.x

You are registering for a little later than most students of the school do, I think, but I'm glad you got the last spot in one of the classes you need. ^_^
I'll be praying about the rest of your classes. Hang in there, God is in control.
