Fundraising/Other

Please be in prayer for my fundraising efforts for my service dog in training Handsome. After two months of flyers, a newspaper article, contacting businesses, and posting on Facebook, I have raised $0 out of $5,000 needed. I am starting to get really stressed and worried. He is about to start his training and I don't have the money to pay for his training. It was my responsibility to fundraise it and I haven't received any donations.
I moved to a new city and am going to revamp my efforts here. I've contacted the local Lions Club (the Lions Club in my previous town played a crucial role in fundraising for my previous service dog Pebbles and I am a Lion myself). I'm going to contact local businesses and the local paper as well. I have also signed on as a Mary Kay consultant to sell products in an effort to try to come up with the money somehow. Please pray.

Also, I had a piece of the past come back up on Saturday night that I thought was long gone. To be short, my cousin and I had a huge fight and it brought up thoughts that I hadn't struggled with in 4 years. A culmination of stress, Pebbles' retirement, having to give my cat to the animal sanctuary, and health issues probably helped contribute to it. I am seeking counseling and am on the waiting list for the program through my church. Please pray for this as well.

I had a job interview yesterday and it went really well, but I did not get the job. I have another job interview today at 2, so please be in prayer for that.

Some good news: One of my best friends ever is moving down to my college town to attend my university this fall! I am so excited! :D

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

I didn't get either position I interviewed for this week (I know, they got back to me quickly!) I'm still looking, though and will keep trying.

I'm feeling a bit better than I was the other day. My medication likely had an effect on my mood --I'm seeing my doctor next week about going off of it.
