Husband's Job

Postby Angel37 » Thu May 27, 2010 8:31 pm

This seems to (sadly) be the trend on this thread.
My husband's hours got drastically cut at his job to make room for a transfer (who doesn't deserve the 34 hours he demanded because he's only getting transferred because he behaved poorly where he used to work). Lots of other people's hours got drastically cut too because of this and it's pretty bad. My husband's been working at this job for 3 years and never had to worry about his hours because he knew his boss knew his situation. Now this new boss has cut him and basically told him she doesn't care if he can't pay his bills.
So, all that said, he needs desperately a new job. Please pray for him. He's very angry and hurt that all his hard work and loyalty have amounted to nothing.

I hate when that happens. I'll be praying, sis :).
K. Ayato: What happens if you press the small red button?

*Explosion goes off in the movie*

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

This seriously sucks so much! Having to look for a new job is so stressful (I know because I help people through this daily)...

I'll be praying for you guys, just keep faith that God will somehow provide for you!

yeesh, kinda sounds like my situation. Well, I've been looking for a bloody long time and finally landed one, I'm sure your husband can do that too. In my opinion, a boss who doesn't care shouldn't be a boss. You're in my thoughts.
Psalms 82:3-4
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless;
maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Rescue the weak and needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

seriously. His old gm was so thoughtful of his employees. This one just seems to be power tripping and couldn't care less who she steps on.

Thank you guys for the prayers. He continues his search tomorrow. We've lots of options and hopefuls and we pray God provides!

Angel, just ran into something you will like.

From the book Trusting God, even when life hurts:
"We may think we have true Christian love until someone offends us or treats us unjustly. Then we begin to see anger and resentment well up within us. We may conclude we have learned about genuine Christian joy until our lives are shattered by an unexpected calamity or grievous disappointment. Adversities spoil our peace and sorely try our patience. God uses those difficulties to reveal to us our need to grow, so that we will reach out to Him to change us more and more into the likeness of His Son."
Hope this helps.
