Fire

So...there was this fire in my town today, and well, that never happens around here. The place that burned down is the bar that I didn't know existed until like a month ago and one of the only two restaurants in town (they managed to stop the flames from spreading to the hotel part). It was pretty scary. The building was right by a forested area, so if the woods had caught on fire, then we would have been looking at a much larger loss. Luckily, that didn't happen. The fire broke out this morning, at about 8:40, just as I was arriving at school...We could see the smoke quite easily, and saw many fire trucks when we were outside for Phys. Ed.
I know a lot of people who are sad about the only bar in town being gone, but, well, I ate in that place. My classmate's mother worked there for 8 years, and a T.A. I'm kind of friends with also worked there for a long time, too. It's news that traveled over town instantly, and I guess everybody's pretty shaken up by it. Plus, there are so many people out of a job now...it's terrible. Fortunately no one was injured, and I still don't know if the cause of the fire has been determined.
So...pretty much, thanks to God that the fire didn't spread and cause any more damage, praise that nobody was injured, and prayer that those who lost their job because of the fire would be able to find new jobs and they'd be feeling okay. Also, prayers for the owner. He only bought the place like a week ago, so he must be feeling terrible. He and the workers there need prayer. Thanks guys.
