Okay, I believe I have the capabilities to work as a Shift Supervisor at a Taco Bell. Well, I never worked at a Tex Mex place but I have 4 years experience in fast food in general. So, PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS TO WORK. Most of you know I've been looking for a job for a long time.

Heh, didn't even think of that. We once had a friend who had a plaque that said, "Coincidence is God's way of staying anonymous."

Thing is, God doesn't want to be anonymous. That's what nonbelievers believe in.

God: Bender, being God isn't easy. If you do too much, people get dependent on you, and if you do nothing, they lose hope. You have to use a light touch. Like a safecracker, or a pickpocket.
Bender: Or a guy who burns down a bar for the insurance money!
God: Yes, if you make it look like an electrical fire. When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

Ahem - back onto Midknight's original request, I will be praying for you.
Taco Bell should accept you; back when I lived on the streets, I remember getting close to getting a job with them because they accept applications from homeless people. I think God helps things work in Taco bell

Good chance of fail. I called the manager today about the job but he couldn't get a hold of anyone that was at my previous workplace. I gave him a resume with all the necessary information, including references, and call him back in a few weeks. All these unanswered prayers, all the things I'm doing to get the best chance to get a job, and the fact that I can't seem to get along with the family I moved into, it's taking it's toll on me.

Alright, another interview at a company called, you're gonna love this, Fish Window Cleaning. Tomorrow at 11 am. The recruiter was impressed with me contacting him again so quickly. Please hire me, please hire me, please hire me......

Ooh, like working at an Aquarium? Or just window washing? Remeber, most interviews are decided in the first 30 seconds. Firm handshake, decent eye contact, no facial piercings(XD). The whole sha-bang! GL!
Also, God never says "No." He says "I have something better." (But sometimes it takes awhile till we find out what, exactly...)
So go get 'em! XD

Update: Alright, during the interview, the guy told me that he was impressed with how I confronted him and answered his questions. I'll be having a second interview and I have to have questions ready for him. Which sucks cause I'm not that good at asking the right questions.

What type of questions is he hoping you'll ask?

Well lets see, idk. He didn't specify any one type of questions. So I ned to come up with a few. My stepmom, dad (maybe), and I are going to figure it out this weekend. The 2nd interview is on Monday at 9 am

Alright, looks like I got it. Keywords "Looks like". He said he'll be sending/calling with a job offer either later today or tomorrow. He'll be on vacation though so I probably won't start training till next week. Sales job sounded easy, I knew it wasn't going to be. But at least it wasn't what I thought it was and it being something I stay on the phone all the ding-dong day. He said the first 3 months will be the "pain tunnel" but if I can get through that, I should do just fine.

You know, I getting sick and tired of my dad and stepmom trying to influence my decisions. I got an interview at Taco Bell tomorrow night but the thing is I start training as a salesperson on Monday morning. I first want to see how this Fish Window Cleaning sales job goes and then go from there. Just because it's a little "fishy"
doesn't always mean its bad. So far, I didn't have to read a contract or sign any papers. I'm 22, not 16. Allow me to make my own decisions and do things myself a little. Nutrisystem didn't work out for me even though they bought the stuff. Yes, I do need to lose weight but let me look around and don't buy stuff for me when I haven't been told about it. geez...

I'll continue to pay that all works out ^^
It's sweet that they want to help, but they really should at least listen to what you're saying ^^
