CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hey everyone!

I guess this is a prayer/praise... thread. But mostly for prayer... haha!

Recently I took on a few free-lance illustrating jobs. I've illustrated a 12 page coloring book for a Kansas Pro-life group, and its currently being tested...(meaning the people who will be using it are giving it to kids who will color it and see what they think!) I didn't write the story that goes with it, but it has a wonderful message! Pray that they will be touched by it, and I'll receive helpful tips! (AKA: if it needs work, how I can make it even better.

With the same author, I will be turning the 12 page coloring into a full 32 page childrens' picture book. @_@ LOTS to add to the story, image-wise...

Also, I have another opportunity, to work with a different client, and that is illustrating a 18 pages of a poem.

These are a LOT to do for me, I'm grateful for God giving me these jobs, because a few weeks ago I said "God, USE me. " And all of a sudden, all these opportunities fell in my lap.

I know they are from Him. Its just way to coincidental to be otherwise... But pray that I don't get too distracted. I'm doing these books for HIM and for no one else... they both have positive messages...and I believe hearts will be touched if I let God use me.

Also, over spring break I'm going on my FIRST mission trip ever. (yah, I know, I'm 21, I should have been on one already. ) We are going to a Navajo reservation in New Mexico to reach out to the kids there, and put on some sports camps.

Now, I'm excited about this trip, however we are going to be putting on Sports camps during the entire week! Hahaaa I'm not the most athletic person, (although I have been working out!) so just pray that all that goes smoothly.

Travel mercy prayers would be great too!


Also, I am also the illustrator for the campus paper, and that keeps me hoppin as well...

and I miss working on Stick Monkey So pray that I will be able to continue the comic soooon!

Congratulations! Praise God! Love reading positive prayer reports and for being selfish (not really =P) they sure are an encouragement! Can't wait to see the finished results of your published projects (you'll have to link us if they hit the market or however that works out). Still haven't gone on one either so make sure to update us on that - lol and if your setting up the sports camp you should be ok.

On another note congratulations on working out as well - definitely love encouraging people when they start. Healthier, better lifestyles ftw (plus endorphins rock). Prayers for sure! But rather than the "I'll pray for you later" - I'm just gonna type it.

God we thank you for the blessing of ChristianKitsune on the website and we ask that you watch over her as she journeys to New Mexico. I pray that she has safe travel mercies and you open her eyes and heart to anyone she can minister to along the way. Let your love work in her throughout the entire trip and I ask you give her strength and wisdom while she completes these two projects and any other work you send her way.
