I really need you guy's help

A lot has been going on lately and it's getting to be too much to handle.
First off, my brother. I know there has to be something wrong with him. He'll complain incessantly but when you tell him to be quiet he gets snappy (mind you he's 18). What comes next is he just stops reasoning and makes everything wrong but himself. He begins screaming and threatening us and himself. He breaks things and tries to hurt us and you just can't get anything through his head. He'll say God won't forgive him and that he deserves to burn in hell. When he's like this it's like he's possessed and we've even had my pastor and uncle talk to him but he still continues to do this. It's been happening less lately but we just had a really bad one today.
Also, we are dealing with a lot of financial stress for my parents are divorced so I'm living with my dad and my mom just lost her job so she can't help with anything.
We just really need your prayers. I just don't know how much more we can deal with (my dad is taking this especially hard).
Thanks.

For an 18 year old his behavior seems to be rather abnormal or at the very least defiant.
Has he always been like this? Don't take this the wrong way, but have you considered having him see a psychologist?

He did it again today... I don't know what we are going to do. You can't calm him down when he's in that state. Please keep us in your prayers.
Thanks again

could it just be hormones going out of whack?
I'm not to too quick to label this as demonic opression or anything... but I'll be praying!

Shining, what does he do? I'm not talking about when he gets in that state/mood. Whats he do when he wakes up, with his free time, the music he listens to, the video games he plays.
Now it's my belief that music can influence you and has different effects on people, but for me I was a mixture of rock & rap and coming right off a video game background to (with shooters/rpgs - rpgs not being the key factor there) then a life without them (when I changed around my life) I noticed a lot of changes. My aggressive driving stood out to me even though I had always been told about it by others. I'm CONSTANTLY told this one "When I'm listening to techno I just catch myself driving faster" from friends.
Apart from music, television, what you read, who you spend your time with. I'm just really curious about his influences. When someones addicted to something, sometimes the second they leave that thing (whether they play video games 24/7 or listen to music) they get angry, feel uncomfortable etc. For me it was video games, I'd stop playing and get mad quickly around my family. Good luck having trying to told me that though. For my x-girlfriend when she wasn't listening to her music (didn't have it for a day) she'd get super cranky =X Bleh. She also had some serious abandonment issues, which is why we came to the conclusion she talks "mean" to the ones she loves (not that it makes it right but shes working on it still).
In another post I posted about the tongue and the power it has, it reminded me how much power our tongue has. Well if you think about the eyes and the ears... You could consider this verse illustrative or literal I suppose -
Matthew 6:22-23 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
I'll keep praying that God will reveal what it is to you guys, especially your brother. Sometimes he might need to be the one to see it before he can change.
God Bless.

Thanks for praying. Well, about the stuff he surrounds himself with: all he listens to is Christian music, he goes to church and stuff like that. He does play shooters though. Many times though, his outbursts don't even occur do to a poor performance in a game. For example, just the other day he totally because his right contact was uncomfortable and I simply said mine are always fine...I just don't know...

He was always like this as a kid but not as severe as in recent years.

I really hope things get better. The Holy Bible says in Mathew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them". Don't give up hope ok? God bless!

I would have to agree with MSP then, A psychologist definitely sounds like a good idea. I'll keep praying for both of you.

Oh, and we were about to see a psychologist but my mom lost her job which happened right as the insurance ran out...so we can't afford it currently. Hopefully once the economy picks up we will.
