OK, this is my first prayer thread thingie. I really didn't want to do this, because it feels so weird saying this aloud. But, I truthfully am terrified right now. This isn't about me, however...

Today, my uncle, whom has always treated us terribly, informed my father he was going to kill him. Why? No reason. He just stopped my Dad in the road to tell him this. My "grandfather" present the entire time, did nothing. I love my Dad, he means everything to me. (another weird thing to say) My Father is very goofy, easygoing, funny and kind. He's worried, however. Since my "uncle's" behavior was so unlike him. Dad's on a flight right now, so he's safe.

It gets even stranger. For the past months, my Dad was shaken by some dream he had. He never would tell me what it was about, but he did say it felt so real. Well, I know now he dreamed his brother came to him and shot him dead.

This may sound stupid, or that I'm overreacting, but I really need prayer right now. Not for me, for my Dad. ^^ ...Thanks

Please protect Erin_Artist06's dad and his family from whatever is brewing. Let your Spirit of Truth, Wisdom and Grace guide Erin_Artist06's father to do what he ought to protect himself and his family. And if needed, please reconcile the brothers in peace.

Could that by law be considered serious? In this day and age, you just don't joke about things like that. I'll be praying, but you should keep your eyes peeled for anything that you think is definitely worth notifying authorities about. He didn't sound like he was joking, did he?

I'm not saying that you should rush out and call the police right away (unless other people think this is that serious and second what I said), but at least keep a wary eye out for anything that definitely screams "call the police." And I'll be praying especially for your dad, your family, and you when I go to Mass this morning.

Well having been through this recently...I would suggest your dad to take your uncle serious. Perhaps enough to form the police

also since it is unlike your uncle it is possible he was intoxicated or something to that affect or just not in his right mind or even frankly not himself.

I will pray. I'm not sure if your dad is a christian as well but if he is then he has nothing to fear...not even death. I will pray tho

I pray for Erin's dad. Lord you know how this whole thing is going to play out and Lord you know what spiritual forces are behind the scenes. Father I pray first for his dad's protection and Lord that this will ultimately draw him closer to you. Lord I also pray for Erin's uncle and grandfather who so desperately need you.

I don't know where your denomination may stand on this, but it sounds like there is some sort of spiritual oppression/possession going on with your uncle... Pray hedges of protection around your father, and pray for your uncle!!!!

If your uncle *is* dealing with a demonic element that is leading his behavior, then maybe there can be some intervention made through prayer and fasting...
