I don't know too much about what's going on in Burma, but that there is terrible massacres going on their. Buddhist monks are peacefully protesting against the military regime and are getting slaughtered among others who are protesting. Aung San Suu Kyi is a Nobel Peace Prize winner for this cause and has been imprisoned by said government.

Please pray for a peaceful resolution of this terrible conflict and for the repose of those who have died.

I had hope that this situation would resolve without too much loss of life, but things have gone from bad to worse. I try to keep it in my prayers.

Indeed. It's easy to ignore this kind of trouble since it is all behind the borders of another country. All people deserve self-determination and responsible government. I also try to keep this and others in my prayers.
