CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hello everyone. Yesterday around 1pm my boyfriends house caught fire. It was an electrical fire and it started in their bathroom. They got out just in time; the house was 25 years old and about 30 secconds after everyone got out it all went up in flames. Everything is destroyed;there is tremendous smoke and water damage.
They have 10 kids, 6 of which were living in the house. They are staying all over the place... their dads apartement, their sisters house...
They are all having a really hard time coping, especially the mom. Plesase be praying that:
1. I will be allowed to run my fundraiser
2. That people will donate alot of money
3. They will all be able to cope
4. That the house will be re built quickly

One note: they did have insurance, but that cant replace the countles memories, photos, origonal game systems and video games, cd's and personal items they had.

I will definatly be praying.

That's awful. I'll keep them in my prayers. If you are collecting money for them, most grocery stores will let you set up a table outside to collect for charity/ect. Just ask the store manager first. They're usually pretty nice about it.

I've been through a house fire before... conveniently, it burned up our storage room (and not much else) so many of the original photographs and childhood things from myself and espically my brother (He's about 13 years older then I am) were gone... >> everything else was okay, though. ><;;

Material possessions can be regained, but family members are a different story.

They will be able to cope as long as they keep it all in perspective, after all, some/all of them could have died.

I'd rather mourn the loss of my stuff than a sibling or child.

The first and most important miracle has already taken place since no one was hurt.

God will certainly take care of the details, I'll be praying.
