trying to get more involved in my church

well this year i have had a LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTT of family problems, but i think i am starting to move past them, so i would like prayer for that, but also, i am trying to get more involved in my church, i have a very small church but they are trying to do more stuff, i don't really have any skills or talents that anyone doesn't have (i don't think) i might know how to do a few things that no one else can do but idk if those things are really needed, i will soon start learning the keyboard and then i will be able to be part of the youth worship band (i think) but since i will have to learn the keyboard first it could be 6 months to a year before i could play good enough to be part of the band and by then they will have someone else (probably) so i guess i would like people to pray that somethings comes up that i can be a part of. thanks XD

DOn't worry- I'm sure that there are things that you can do that you haven't thought of! Maybe you could start a Christian discussion group for the youths that does stuff like books, movies, anime and manga, you know- media in general... I know that some churches will talk about it once in a while, but since people are inundated with media every day, making it weekly or biweekly might be worth thinking about.

Maybe you could collaborate with the youth worship band to make a few songs?

sounds good! only this church is TINY! i'm out of state right now but there isn't enough people to do something like that lol besides none of them like anime or manga, and yeah, like, you see i don't know everyone THAT well and i'm so shy... yeah. they want me to be involved but there isn't really much. yet anyway XD

Well, I hope it comes along. Actually, starting a discussion group on media (you could do books and music and movies instead of anime and manga) would be a good way to meet people or get to know them better. I'm really shy, too, so I can understand why that would be hard But if it's too small to do that, then I can understand why it's be even hard to work out.

yeah, i might try to do that. it's also hard to get involved because of my family problems, so whereas that would be pretty cool, it would be pretty hard.
