This I suppose is a self prayer request, but it is bugging me so I might as well get it out of the way. I moved to a new town about 4 years ago and still haven't made any friends. I'm going to be starting high school this year and would really like to not have everyday guys picking on me and being teased, and also I would like one really close friend at school, or just one friend lol.
anyway please pray ^^

update:
Went to the school orientation and got ditched and was given a look like they wanted nothing to do with me by my only 3 acquaintances
so I'm even more depressed and scared
please pray that I at least get one good friend.

Making friends can be very difficult at times (I'll agree with that) 8( I guess one of the only things you can do is continue to say hi to those you see (rather in the hallway, in class, out of class) and leave it to them to bite or not ^^

You seem really nice, so keep on being so ^__^

I wouldn't let the whole orientation thing bug you ^^ Some kids are really shy ^^ So, they tend to just talk to those who they already know

Keep us updated once school does start ^^?

Wow! Really? My first impression of you was that you were a very awesome person!
I find it difficult to believe that people would treat you that way. Oh well, it is their loss.
I will pray that things will turn out better for you.

I think it might be a spiritual thing that people tease maybe?
I get teased alot for not getting perverted jokes or not thinking its funny.

Yeah, I said a prayer. Don't fear- for me high school was much better friend-wise than middle school, and kids matured enough that they didn't pick on me nearly as much.

yea I just started two weeks ago. I haven't really any friends yet but the learning part is easyer. I must have a really bad high school cause they are actually less mature then in middle school. guy are chasing around girls and are really rude and such but I haven't lost hope quite yet.^^

I'll be praying for you dear. Yeah I went through the exact same thing through not just high school, but middle school and my last two years of grade school. The other kids would just pick on me just because I acted "different" or had a unique sense of thinking, or just didn't think the same way they did. It's just a shame how kids can be so cruel to others sometimes. Sorry no offense to those under age, XD. But yeah the point is, I do understand exactly what you are going through and I always hate to see it happen to other people. *hugs*

Just remember to be yourself, relax and let God take care of the rest. You'll make friends. Also, extra-curricular activities...most of my friends from high school came out of participating in my school's theater program and, honestly, had I not participated in theater I never would have met them. I'll be praying.

If people are hurting you it's time to tell someone. Teacher, principle, Mom, Dad, somebody. It's not ok for the people doing it to think that they don't need or have to stop. I will pray for you. Have courage.

I really hope and pray that you get some good friends that know Jesus soon. Hang in there.

I meant verbally beat up, sorry, though I do get hit and get punched normally I just block it and smack them. .lol but I hate getting physical like that.
